Comfort Inn & Suites I-25 Near Spaceport America

My room had black bugs crawling everywhere and when I fell asleep one of the bugs crawled into my ear it was the worst experience I have ever had. Didn't know why I woke up with pain and a fluttering feeling in my ear well I had one of those bugs in my ear, So I went to notify the front desk and he admitted to having a black bugs problem and told me I'll switch u rooms but if u just admitted to having a problem the other room is going to be the same so upon going back to the room and cleaning and looking for bugs in the bed we found 2 more and there was several in the love seat my 3 day weekend trip turned into 1 1/2 day trip and today is the 3rd day and I still haven't heard of im even going to get a refund for my trip never again don't recommend staying there for no one especially kids don't know if these bugs can crawl in kids or babys ears

The room was very dirty, the carpet needs to be cleaned. The phones are not working; this can be a hazard for guests who might have an emergency and need to use the telephone, the curtains are ripped and need to be replaced, the refrigerator is full of snow and my fruit freeze. The hotel is advertising free “ hot breakfast” they didn’t even had coffee, their toaster didn’t work, they didn’t have cream cheese for the beagles, they didn’t have regular yogurt; only light, they didn’t have regular coffee creamer; only vanilla flavored. The breakfast was cold eggs and bread or beagles. We stayed at this hotel before and it was okay. Now we paid $135.00 for a terrible room. We will never stay there again, even if there’s no other option.

Truth or Consequences is a mixture of great hot springs and rundown desert buildings and streets under construction. If the city returned to its original name of Hot Springs and built a reputation around this truly unique and wonmderful attribute, I think things might turn around. The hotel is on the north edge of town in a quiet spot with ample parking. The staff was efficient and quick. Parking was ample and free. The hotel website alleges it is near Spaceport, USA however closer examination revealed it is an hour or so away, about twenty-five miles. The hotel has all the basics but is showing its wear. The lobby was functional for checking in but not much else. The carpets appeared worn out, bathrooms were clean, but toilet had no cover on it. We slept well though we were worried since a man had pulled out a grill and was barbequing outside in the parking lot near the rooms. It was strange but rally did not affect our sleep other than thinking about it.

Me and my mother-in-law stayed at this hotel only because the Holiday Inn Express was pretty much booked up and way overpriced anyway and after reading some 1-to-3-star reviews, I was a little leery to stay here but we did anyway, and we were pleasantly surprised. This rooms were very clean and spacious, beds were oh so comfy and the rooms had a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine, which I love. The breakfast was okay, which you would expect for a free breakfast, the pool was nice and clean, kids were playing in it happily. Staff were very friendly. I will defiantly stay here again in the future, and I recommend this Comfort Inn.

Stayed with a group for several days…and not the first time. It is hard to believe but true and hopefully will never happen again: Breakfast item quantities were totally insufficient and in addition two days without morning coffee because they could not figure out how to make it !! No effort whatsoever to make up for it by offering a rebate or something else…talk about customer service!

The hotel was conveniently located to all the major sights in the area - - e.g., an excellent Mexican restaurant, historical museums, nature preserves, Elephant Butte, and several mineral springs. The staff were friendly, responsive to our needs, and competent. The hotel facilities - - e.g., the pool - - were well organized, clean, and convenient. Of special note was the hotel staff’s helpful, response in locating and mailing some forgotten items to us.

Super comfortable beds and pillows, clean rooms and very nice staff. The breakfast was pretty poor other than the waffles. There was a nice sized indoor pool that was empty but we never used. Coffee was like brown colored water. Otherwise very comfortable stay!

Staying here one night driving back to Albuquerque from El Paso due to an air leak in a tire. It's the typical, average Comfort Inn. The King bed is comfortable, shower was good, put out hot water immediately. TV is a good size for the room, looks to be 43 inches, an HDTV recently manufactured by LG. It has DirecTV service, complete w/DirecTV remote.. it's just like you'd get in your home. All local channels from Albuquerque are available, plus many many "cable" channels. TV has a DirecTV channel guide, as well. Looks like there is maybe a DVD player below the TV, but I don't see a remote for it. AC is nice and cold.. it was freezing in the room upon arrival! There's a fridge with a very small freezer, along w/a microwave & coffee pot (with carafe!) Ice machine is on the first floor, close to lobby. The elevator is out of order. The building is two stories, wasn't an issue for me to get to my room on the 2nd floor, but I can certainly see it being an issue for anyone that needs to haul a hotel cartful of items for a longer stay, or for older & those guests that may have breathing problems. There is a Denny's restaurant attached to the hotel.. I was going to order from there, but unlike all other Denny's locations, there was no chicken tenders dinner available, so ordered Pizza Hut instead. There is a McDonald's next door, as well. The only issue I really have to raise is the fact that the in-room wi-fi is extremely slow. I was getting speeds below 1 mps download... with an upload speed of around 1.5 mps. Barely usable.. that kind of speed may have been great 15-20 years ago, but not now. I decided to use my phone's mobile hotspot, I am getting speeds w/the hotspot of around 54mps download, 6.5 upload.. VERY nice (this is with the AT&T network) This hotel is right off I-25, close to several restaurants (Sonic, McDonalds, Denny's, and a local restaurant). So yeah... the hotel is pretty much what I said at the beginning.. an average, run-of-the-mill Comfort Inn. Nothing fancy, standard Comfort Inn amenities.. there are stains on the easy chair/ottoman, though. Overall, a decent place to stay the night, whether you have a planned trip to T or C, or, like me, made an unplanned stop due to a car tire. The Holiday Inn Express across the street looks nicer, but I cannot speak to the quality of the hotel itself. It is about $15 more expensive.
