Holiday Inn Express Troy

Outstanding holiday inn with the friendliest staff I’ve had at an IHG. The room was clean and they accommodated the fact my son and his friend arrived before me and checked them in without any hassle. It made for an easy arrival. The breakfast was great and they had my favorite….a pancake printer.

I have stayed here several times when visiting St. Louis, a short distance to the Speedway and Busch Stadium, New property very well appointed and quiet right of of I 55. Great breakfast nice clean rooms. The only complaint I had was the Contingency fee that is placed on my credit card, I Called twice after a few days to have it taken off and it still is on my CC. A Platinum Elite Club member should not even have this hold placed on card.

Our room was clean and comfortable with all the typical amenities. There are several nice places for dinner and breakfast is typical for HIE. The staff was very friendly and we had no issues with our stay.

One of the noisiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Three 18 wheeler trucks parked in the lot outside my window with engines running all night long. Reverberated loudly. Newer hotel, so minimal insulation including to floors above. The room was clean. Typical hotel room. However, due to the amount of noise, I would stay elsewhere if I ever pass through this town again.

This hotel was wonderful! Clean, spacious room and the breakfast was better than the average continental breakfast offered. The bathroom was very clean and very roomy. The staff was polite and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

after working all day ... long days. This is my 5th night here - and 3 of those nights I've had NO television to watch (oh, you might get 30 seconds, then it freezes and you lose ALL channels, then repeat - but Thursday and Friday it's been black screen on all channels). Pool was closed one night; there is water all over the floor from the ice machine - which, unfortunately is next to the washer and dryer so if you drop something - it's soaked. When I called the front desk to ask about the TV reception finally on Thursday night, I was told there was nothing that could be done until morning - not even an apology. Well, here it is Friday night and nothing has been done. Very frustrated. Location is great for dining out ... just don't plan on staying in and relaxing with a pizza and the TV!

My service dog and I enjoyed the room. I forgot to ask for a military discount, and when I asked about it in the morning, the front desk clerk didn’t know if she could because I waited too long, but she didn’t get that information, so I never got the discount. Noise was definitely a factor. I could hear the parents scolding their children in the room next door and below until after 1 am, but I didn’t call to complain, so that’s not the hotel’s fault. Our wonderful stay was ruined when we went down to breakfast and a staff member refused to allow me and my service dog access to the food. She went to get a manager but never returned, so I turned to the front desk clerk. She supported her uninformed colleague. When asked if she knew anything about service dog laws, she said “somebody told me once,but I forgot”. Meanwhile, the entire lobby and dining area were staring at us and making comments. The clerk refused to look up the law, and could not get ahold of a manager. When I called corporate, I was told I would get a call back before I checked out. That was yesterday, they still haven’t contacted me. FYI, my dog’s behavior was not at issue.

Arrived late at the hotel after 9 hours of driving, only to find out Holiday Inn Troy cancelled my reservation when I arrived. Their excuse for not calling me was that they did not have my number, but they could have easily found that out by calling Priceline about my reservation, which they didn't even bother to do. Since I could not find another hotel around the area at that time, I ended up staying at the lobby without proper sleep. The front desk was nice enough to offer breakfast, but that doesn't change the fact that I couldn't get a room. If you make a reservation here through a third party website, just be aware that this hotel can cancel your reservation to make room for people willing to pay higher prices.

Appears to be a newer hotel. It was clean, bed were comfortable, the rooms and bathroom were a good size, the shower was nice and hot. It was not very busy which was great for us. Breakfast was great, clean area, the breakfast items were filled and hot.
