My service dog and I enjoyed the room. I forgot to ask for a military discount, and when I asked about it in the morning, the front desk clerk didn’t know if she could because I waited too long, but she didn’t get that information, so I never got the discount. Noise was definitely a factor. I could hear the parents scolding their children in the room next door and below until after 1 am, but I didn’t call to complain, so that’s not the hotel’s fault. Our wonderful stay was ruined when we went down to breakfast and a staff member refused to allow me and my service dog access to the food. She went to get a manager but never returned, so I turned to the front desk clerk. She supported her uninformed colleague. When asked if she knew anything about service dog laws, she said “somebody told me once,but I forgot”. Meanwhile, the entire lobby and dining area were staring at us and making comments. The clerk refused to look up the law, and could not get ahold of a manager. When I called corporate, I was told I would get a call back before I checked out. That was yesterday, they still haven’t contacted me. FYI, my dog’s behavior was not at issue.
