Stayed outside of the golfing season. Very comfortable and well appointed rooms excellent for business and couples all at a reasonable price (when the golf is not on) A good fare at breakfast. The house used to belong to the Johnny Walker family.

Whats not to like, an impressive building, in an excellent location, fantastic food, and amazing staff. One of the best hotels I've stayed at in a long time and I travel a lot! I especially liked the flexibility and choice of the dining plan and some excellent cocktails.

We had a great stay at Piersland House Hotel. Felt relaxed as soon as we walked in. Beautiful wood panelling, lovely fires, great food and lovely welcoming staff. We were given an upgrade in our room which was a lovely surprise. We will be back.

Exquisite, stately property . . . Very clean rooms . . . Restaurant was very good and fairly priced . . . The breakfast buffet was quite the spread with fresh fruits and croissants, eggs to order, and much more. Staff is well trained and friendly.

We had our wedding at The Piersland on 10.08.24 and couldn’t have chosen a better venue. Stunning venue, food was unreal and nothing too much for the staff. Big shout out to Martin the co-ordinator for everything and Ann and the rest of the housekeeping team for everything. We are truly grateful. Everyone made our day special. Thank you all. The Cook’s.

A traditional small country house hotel. Our room was small but had everything we needed for a two night stay. Very comfortable bed and quiet location so we slept well. Recommend the full Scottish breakfast. Lovely staff. There's no lift but staff happily carried our bags up and down.

My husband and I stayed two nights as we were attending a wedding in another hotel nearby. We upgraded to a superior room which was absolutely beautiful and well worth the extra money. It felt very luxurious! Our friends stayed in the more expensive hotel where the wedding was taking place and our room was much nicer and far better value. Every member of staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They really made us feel welcome and made our stay extra special. We had dinner in the hotel which was absolutely delicious. I loved every course. Breakfast was also spot on. We had a fantastic time and will definitely return. Thank you.

This was our third stay at the hotel and it didn't disappoint. Everything was perfect from delicious meals to an excellent bedroom and friendly helpful staff. The staff are one of the hotel's greatest assets. We will certainly be back again next year.

I’ve stayed at this hotel but today I went for lunch. The receptionist was very unfriendly and directed me to the restaurant. I stood in the doorway and a waiter passed asking what I wanted. He asked if I had booked a table which I hadn’t and he said abruptly we’re full but you can have a drink!! Wanted lunch! It was busy but they need some customer service training. I found that with some staff when we stayed previously. This is letting your hotel down
