Very nice, cozy and modern condo at the Androna location. It maybe a little bit hard to navigate to the entrance but luckily the instructions were very clear in a Whatsapp message.
The only minor drawback is that you need to walk up a flight of stairs to get the elevator. If you get the top floor, you'll need to walk up another flight of stairs but it's typical for a building like this.
It's location is fairly central to a lot of landmarks It's walkable from the central train station. The cruise ship terminal is a 10 min easy walk.

Mini apartment in the "pigeon loft", cozy and well furnished. Very tactical location, a stone's throw from the parking lot and FROM the square. When booking they even told me that the elevator went all the way to the lower floor, so I would have to climb the last flight of stairs on foot... but they didn't tell me that: - the bathroom window didn't open. - the curtain of the skylight above the bed (partially broken) could only be lowered with great balancing acts (the sun in your face in the summer doesn't really help you sleep) - the air conditioner was as noisy as a TRACTOR.... Considering that in the hot month of June in the attic it was unthinkable to turn on the air conditioner and the amount of mosquitoes didn't allow you to open the windows (mosquito nets torn off) my night was sleepless. In response to my complaints, the response was: "the building is protected by the superintendence, we couldn't put an external machine and the air conditioners without split are all noisy" ... Apart from the fact that the extreme noise was due to vibrations (poor maintenance) but.... TELL ME FIRST NO??!. It's obvious: if I had known I wouldn't have booked but by not being informed I was really taken for a ride.

Fantastic little apartment with everything you need for a short stay. It’s in the most incredible central location but incredibly quiet. Easy 15 min walk from train/bus station.

We will definitely stay again when we next visit trieste! Although the apartment kitchen could do with teatowels and/or kitchen roll. Lovely apartment, so close to the main square, restaurants and parking garage. Thank you!

Right in the old ghetto, 200m walking from the parking San Giorgio and squeezed between Piazza Nazionale and Piazza Bursa, one could not get a more central location. The entrance was abit confusing as there is a Via del Pane and a forking Androna del Pane. You should take the latter #3. Th eappartment is well restored and modern, fully equipped and all amenities are there. However the working of the airco was a bit of a mistery, but it worked. Should we come back to Triëst, we do not need to search for a better place to stay.

Mosquito alert! We were eaten by mosquitoes all night, resulting in distress and zero sleep. Very poor, dismissive reaction to complaint by host who blamed construction site nearby but did not acknowledge problem beyond "inconvenience" and took no mitigations. Windows were wide open on arrival even though they knew about the problem. Our holiday was punctuated by visits to pharmacy as a result of a one night stay. It's well appointed, but sadly bad for your health. Avoid!

Worst travel/accommodation experience ever! Arrived in the evening to open windows in loft apartment, after having spent some stressful minutes trying to get in and not break key. Bitten alive by multitudes of mosquitos through the night, resulting in all over body red sores and several pharmacy visits over following days. Contacted hosts to complain next morning and asked for refund, as no sleep and sore. Host acknowledged they knew of issue caused by nearby construction work, but refused to provide apology, let alone refund. Avoid this place for the sake of your health.
