Kudehya! I understand what it means in patois. Yet, for me, it means the "secret place." There, is where I get to disconnect from the world and its distractions. The space and the staff are always loving and welcoming. Bad vibes aren't allowed to cross the threshold! Such a sacred space. The ocean, the lush greenery, flowers... Mother Nature is very present. I give the greatest thank you to the hosts. They are very attentive and sensitive to the needs of your stay. I feel relaxed and safe when I'm within Kudehya! Not many can say that about their own homes. If you need to exhale, Ku deh (look) at Kudehya. You'll find rest and peace of mind. Blessings.

It was a great stay - Marco (the manager there) is fantastic and Treasure Beach is an awesome place to visit generally, beautiful beaches and some great things to do nearby.

Kudehya is why people wish to visit TBeach. Daily water & coffee could be supplemented with light breakfast of fruit, cereal & toast. I should have requested tea bags instead of coffee.We could walk to next door property for meals but lingering on Kudehya 's property in the mornings would have been lovely... the we maintained garden the spashing of waves & inviting breeze..just delightful! Outdoor shower very nice too but water is available too!

Beautiful place. Beautiful view. Beautiful people. We loved sleeping so close to the ocean. Marco (the manager/caretaker) was full of local information as well as Jamaican history. He arranged our ride to Pelican Bar (he knows everybody) and gave us a tour of the local restaurants. Many within walking distance. It is very safe in Treasure beach. We walked up and down the beach along with walking to restaurants. Lashings restaurant (2 doors down) was our go to spot each morning for breakfast on the beach. Note: when walking from guesthouse to beach on their private trail, don't step on the crabs that share the trail.

Tolle Unterkunft - super Lage - hervorragende Betreuung vor Ort Wir waren begeistert von der Wohnung. Die Terrasse und der Ausblick aufs Meer sind unbeschreiblich. Nachts nur Sternenhimmel und Meeresrauschen. Würden wir sofort wieder buchen Marco hat sich vor Ort um all unsere Wünsche gekümmert - einfach top

I have said it before but this is our home away from home. The accommodations are simple but cozy, the property is beautifully maintained, hummingbirds roam the property, and the views of the ocean and sound of the waves are peaceful. Peggy and Marco take care of you but are not intrusive. Lots of food within walking distance. If you are looking for a rustic but comfy place to stay while visiting Treasure Beach, I highly recommend Kudehya. Stay for a day, stay for 8 (which is what we do) it is Irie.

Wir haben unsere Flitterwochen im Januar 2024 auf Jamaika verbracht und sind auf unserer Reise über die Insel irgendwann in Treasure-Beach gelandet. Dabei sind wir auf das Kudehya-Guesthouse gestoßen und waren direkt verliebt. Die Anlage ist sehr gemütlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Peggy und Marco sind sehr offen, hilfsbereit und fürsorglich. Wer eine liebevoll eingerichtete und gemütliche Unterkunft sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Jedes der 3 Zimmer im Guesthouse hat eine eigene Terrasse mit genügend Privatsphäre. Zudem gibt es auf dem Grundstück viele schattige Plätze zum Ausruhen, z.B in einer der Hängematten. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über einen Kühlschrank und eine Kaffeemaschine. Eines der Zimmer hat eine eigene kleine Küche zur Selbstversorgung. Peggy brachte uns jeden morgen Kaffeepulver und 2 PET-Flaschen mit Wasser (obwohl man das Leitungswasser hier bedenkenlos trinken kann). In wenigen Schritten ist man direkt am Meer. Generell kann man von hier aus fußläufig alles in Treasure Beach gut erreichen. Wir waren so hin und weg, dass aus den ursprünglich 4 geplanten Nächten am Ende 2 Wochen wurden. Wir hatten eine richtig tolle Zeit und erinnern uns neben der tiefen Erholung gerne an die gemütlichen Abende mit Peggy und Marco an der Bar und interessante Unterhaltungen mit wertvollen Einblicken in das Leben auf Jamaika zurück. I had the pleasure of staying at Kudehya in Treasure Beach, and it truly was a remarkable experience. Located in a quiet area right by the sea, this place is a tranquil heaven. The property is surrounded by a lush and beautiful garden. The rooms are cozy, clean and tastefully decorated. What set this place apart, however, were the hosts, Peggy and Marco. They ensured that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable, offering assistance and local insights. Having explored several places in Jamaica, Kudehya stands out as an exceptional retreat. My memories of this place are the highlight of my entire journey.

Kudeya was so relaxing, peaceful and quiet....if you want the ultimate chill out spot this is it!!!! The accommodation was clean and comfortable we loved the art on the walls beds were comfortable bathroom was nice and roomy....we had a private veranda that opened up into a lush garden. Marco the Host was SO NICE, really helpful, we will be back to enjoy the downtime. If your the type of person who loves sunsets, listening to the waves to go to sleep and hearing the birds this is the place for you.
