What a lovely hotel! It is a bit far from the center of Tralee, but a short taxi ride away. You can walk around the grounds- be sure to see the beehives! The food is excellent- and breakfast is included in your room charge. The service is very good. There are little seating nooks in the lobby where you can enjoy a cup of tea and just read. They have bicycles for your use as well. The rooms are large and well furnished. I enjoyed my stay there immensely!

Amazing welcome on arrival, cookies and strawberries in the suite as a welcome treat. Exceptionally friendly staff in the bistro with a great choice of dishes again exceptional service we really enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous, Joe & Leah’s wedding, nothing was too much trouble; the staff were friendly and professional. We stayed 3 nights, the hotel room, reception, and restaurants were faultless. We will definitely book again, a wonderful hotel, who care about their staff and guests. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Hands down the best hotel. We always return to this hotel and never a complaint. Fabulous atmosphere, lovely staff, delicious food and the spa is divine. Orla in reception was super on check in, she came outside the counter to explain everything to us, lovely touch. Looking forward to our next visit.

Our whole family loves Ballygarry Hotel & Spa and always look forward to returning, each stay exceeds expectations with new amenities and services added. The food, rooms, grounds and spa are glorious, but what really makes Ballygarry a fabulous place to stay is the staff. All so friendly and attentive, a special mention for Kay in the Brasserie. It was our wedding anniversary and we received complimentary glasses of Prosecco and sweet treats. Ruairi made sure we had everything we needed in our room and Erin in restaurant 58 was efficient and friendly. Valerio in Owen Mac’s treated my two sons to some extra cookies with their hot chocolates. The staff always make sure our stays are special. Can’t wait for our next stay!

The best hotel stay so far this year. Everything was just perfect. We are already planning our next trip. From a welcome smile at reception to the restaurant, bar staff, and Spa. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Loved the bikes and the grounds.

Really enjoyed our stay . Room was beautiful, bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The only down side was breakfast, service was very poor , long wait for the food. At our table the sugar bowl was empty and the milk was sour . Had to ask them to replace it and had to ask for butter a few times. It was very surprising because it is a fabulous hotel ,go there regularly for lunch so it was a big downfall.

Stayed at Ballygarry recently and loved it. Lovely rooms and are very comfortable beds. The food was very good and the restaurant was even better. The grounds are lovely for a walk . The bar is cosy with a great atmosphere. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. I've been to many hotels all over Ireland and beyond. I've never met staff as attentive and pleasant. They love to chat and point out things to do. It's not just hi and how are you doing but proper chat . They seem genuinely interested in you. Will definitely go back soon. Loved the spa as well .

We recently celebrated our wedding at Ballygarry Estate in Tralee, and it was truly a day to remember! From start to finish, everything was flawless, even with the rain! We held our ceremony in The Lodge, which was beautifully set up, and every detail was handled with care and professionalism, especially by the proprietor, Padraig McGillicuddy, and General Manager TJ, whose expertise made all the difference. Our guests are still raving about the delicious meal and impeccable service. Despite having over 200 guests, everything was executed seamlessly. Ballygarry’s team truly went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt special and well-cared for. Many of our friends and family stayed at the hotel, making full use of the stunning Nadur Spa and outdoor hot tubs overlooking the mountains. The views were breathtaking, and it was a perfect way to unwind after the celebrations. For those looking to explore, the hotel offers bikes for guests to cycle around the expansive grounds or into the nearby Ballyseede Woods, which added an extra layer of charm and adventure. Ballygarry Estate gave us the wedding of our dreams, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly. It’s no surprise that everyone is still talking about it! If you’re looking for a picturesque, welcoming venue with an outstanding team, this is it. Thank you, Ballygarry Estate, for making our day so magical!
