Very Good
GGuest UserStar suite hotel is ok accommodation. it is clean, the breakfast is great. the hotel staff is excellent. all praise for the staff and the owner. The room is a small apartment, really excellent. The location is not very good, if you want to be in the center then this hotel is not for you. but if you choose to be close to the airport and have parking, then this is the location for you. If we were to go to Trabzon again, we would probably choose another location. The hotel and staff are ok, but not the location. It has nothing on walking distance.
The hotel is the usual budget hotel. Cleanliness, decoration, air-condition and comfort in rooms were all good. Breakfast was average. It's 10 minutes walking to downtown Trabzon. The real plus thing that I would encourage anyone to book this hotel for is the helpful staff. Selenay is just amazing. She helped us from the beginning in booking and advised us with better rooms to suit our big number (10 family members). She did a great job organizing our daily trips (3 days in a row - 1st one to Uzungol, 2nd to Zigana / Hamiskoy / Sumela Monastery & the 3rd to Rize). The thing I'm most grateful to her for is that I forgot some valuable stuff in the room and found out after returning to Egypt. She did her best to send me my belongings by mail and it worked out after several trials. I'm very thankful to her.
GGuest UserThe guy at the front desk of the hotel provided good service and the room was cleaned promptly. It is an accommodation choice that can guarantee a good night's sleep during the trip.
The hotel can pay in cash, including Lira and US dollars, or by credit card.
Jjenjen402Would highly recommend this hotel. It is conveniently located with lots of shops and restaurants close by. The parking garage is very confusing, however. We did eventually find it underground. The hotel staff was all very friendly and helpful. They assisted us with booking drivers to the local sites like Sumela Monastery. It was a wonderful stay!
We stayed here for two nights, and I strongly advise you to find another hotel. The customer service we received from this hotel was very, very bad, and the issues we had during our stay revealed that the hotel takes no ownership for problems - even problems that it actually causes. To our amazement, no manager was available to talk to us during the entire two-day duration of our stay. The staff had confirmed by email in advance of our stay that they would look after some important packages for us, which would arrive before we did. However, when the packages had arrived, they told the shipping company that they did not recognise our names and sent them away, which resulted in us never seeing them again. They tried to blame the shipping company, but we were able to obtain confirmation that it was not the shipping company's fault. This may seem like a problem that would not affect you, but my strong view is that no significant problem would be handled any differently. The management of the hotel were clearly comfortable to leave ill-equipped reception staff to cope without any support. I have never in my several decades of travelling encountered a situation where it was not possible to speak to a manager at any point during a stay or to have anyone take responsibility for resolving a customer's compliant. Aside from the terrible customer service, I believe the quality of the hotel is nowhere near high enough to justify the relatively expensive cost of staying there. The breakfast felt like an exercise in cost saving (the only bread being cheap white slices, having to ask on both mornings for milk to be provided, no fruit, no variety in anything else), with none of the quality that we experienced in other hotels we stayed in across Turkey. I know that it can be tempting to ignore a poor review when there are others that are more favourable, but I hope my advice is helpful. I urge you to book somewhere else so that you can enjoy your stay in Trabzon more than we did.
WWolf.hkThe location is close to the bus station. It is very convenient whether you take a minibus to the city center or take a long-distance bus to other cities. It takes 10 to 15 minutes to walk to a large shopping mall.
The hotel has a lift, the facilities are clean, and the room has enough space for two suitcases. The manager Zafar was very gracious and offered to assist.
On the day of check-in, we arrived early by an early flight, and they tried their best to arrange the room, and took us to the restaurant to rest first.
The fly in the ointment is that the hotel is located in the center of the vehicle yard, in the middle of a busy traffic hub. If you are driving by yourself, you are likely to encounter congestion. Be careful when entering and exiting the parking lot.
GGuest UserA wonderful and comfortable hotel, close to the airport and services, and they have all the services, even Otel, and the treatment of the staff was very excellent, God gives them. Thank you to all the Otel staff, and we have another meeting that God's wish ❤️ Health Mascow with us certainly will have another visit soon with God's permission.
AAyooshOverall, my stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The person at the carpark was incredibly helpful and took great care of my car, which was a positive start. However, the receptionist’s lack of a smile, though potentially cultural, left a bit of a cold impression. Check-in was efficient, and Room 206 was clean, but it was disappointing not to have a kettle or iron. On the bright side, the air conditioning worked well. The shower head can be improved, as it wasn’t to my liking. Additionally, the provision of just one large and one small towel was somewhat minimal.
On a positive note, the hotel’s location was convenient, with shops within walking distance. Check-out was straightforward, simply handing over the key to the receptionist. In conclusion, while there were some positive aspects, a few improvements in amenities and service attitude could enhance the overall experience at this hotel.
GGuest UserI have excellent experience in this hotel, it is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast food was delicious . Everything was good.
GGuest UserBooked nazar as stayed there a few times. Not anymore the place is absolutely filthy . My husband and myself have just returned home after 2 weeks in this hole . They charged £80 for air con only for it not to work .had to wait till late day after for repair but no word of refund . Where do I start . The walls in the room were absolutely filthy . Went for a shower only for it to leak all the way through the bedroom everything wet through . Damp patch up the wall the room stank . When I complained was told all there rooms were the same . We lived out of our luggage for 2 weeks as the wardrobe stank of damp . No drawers to put anything in just a tiny cupboard. We're booked in for September but definitely not staying there cost us another £600 to book another hotel .
