4 night stay mid October fantastic room for 3 adults (3 sisters) floor 7 the view from the bedroom/balcony was just stunning 5* view. Receptionist was a lovely lady & gentleman who were so friendly and gave us all the information we required. We stayed HB basis the breakfast choice is great and even thick bacon 👍 the evening meal the first night was not great choice however rest of the holiday so much better sure something for everyone. We sat on the patio most evening great atmosphere with it been so close to the promenade. Good selection and not over priced wine menu in the evening I am not able to name all the staff so best to say everyone is a credit to the hotel professional service with a smile makes your holiday😀 violinist one evening in the dining room was a nice touch so talented and also the singer another evening in the bar/lounge. Due to restricted sun by the pool area and roof top we used the beach few yards away! Definitely will return so enjoyed our Sister get together ❤️

Short trip for 4 mates in 3 rooms. Oct 24. Total cost was £700. Honestly not sure why there are so many negative reviews about this hotel....it's not perfect but people expect perfection I guess. They allocated all 3 rooms on the 1st floor which open up onto the veranda with Jacuzzis (tepid). Rooms were lovely, good bathroom, fantastic shower - people have commented about the water going over the floor....it's a wet room and has drainage by the door...appreciate this could still pose a slip hazard though. My room was cleaned once in the 3 days. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and to my surprise the coffee was decent...they also have proper Nespresso machines so why people are moaning about the coffee god only knows. Staff were always friendly to us. Swimming pool was very warm and clearly heated. Hotel is ideally located at the south of Palmanova and we're already talking about returning. A lovely place.

First time at this resort and hotel, on arrival staff very welcoming smelt lovely, our room was on the 7th floor view was wonderful. Fab shower does get very hot n water does get on the floor but hey it's minor.. breakfast was plentiful, plenty of choice onky gripe coffee machines are so slow and if a few waiting can be a while. The beach is stunning, the hotel pool is lovely and quite warm. Lovely bars and restaurants loads supermarkets highly recommend this location for couples, families ... 🇪🇸 🇪🇸

We have been going to Palmanova for years but this was a last minute booking and our usual hotel was unavailable so this was our first visit to the Comodoro. When arriving the reception looked lovely, modern, clean and smelt great. The reception staff gave us a welcome drink while we checked in. The tourist tax can be paid via credit card, however the hire of the safe and beach towels (small, old, frayed and thin) have to be paid in cash due to you getting some of the deposit back on check out. For the safe you are given a lock barrel with a key in and the safe in the room just has a hole in where you put the barrel, not seen that one before! After check in we located 1 of the two lifts, however both lifts are tiny and state for two adults, I would imagine peak season this would be a nightmare. We asked and paid for a room on a high floor, we were on the 5th floor, the corridor was dreary and the dark wooden doors didnt help. The room however was pleasant , loads of storage with a 3 door wardrobe, the beds were comfy, small fridge , kettle, 2 x tiny cups and a small wooden spoon! (like you get from the chippy) The bathroom had a walk in shower which did leak onto the floor so for the week we had to drape towels around the wall and behind the toilet to soak it up. The bathroom has no storage for toiletries and no hooks to hang wet towels. Also please be aware if your showering children or have mobility issues the shower temperature fluctuates repeatedly no matter what time of day you go in it and it gets very very hot, so be prepared to move quickly. The room was cleaned daily and the towels changed, the bath towels were on the small side. I dont think the floor was ever swept though. The worst part of the room was the balcony, the view was great but the furniture uncomfortable and plastic but our main issue was the height of the walls between the balconies either side, these were quite low so no privacy, and if someone stood up you could see straight into the next room. We had a very noisy couple next to us who were unable to talk quietly and played loud music all hours, we complained to reception, however they could not have been less interested and simply said " have you asked them to turn it down" they didnt even ask our room number so had no intention of doing anything about it. Luckily the couple left after 3 days and we got more considerate neighbours. We only went B & B and the breakfast basic, only about 6 hot plates so dont expect an array of mushrooms, hash browns etc, you get bacon, sausage , tomatoes, beans and weirdly carrots and green beans! A lady was frying eggs which on our first day she did soft for us, on the next day a different cook refused us a soft egg and promptly turned it over, squashed it, shoved it on a serving plate and said 'salmonella' surely if its hotel policy to cremate eggs then they all should do it? The coffee is dire, cups tiny and the 'juice' is weak dilute. Three days was enough and we ate out the

For me it was a wonderful experience that I am looking forward to repeat with them. The location is unbeatable, right in front of the sea. The staff is helpful and the most friendly I have ever seen, included the hotel manager, she is really good. The rooms are beautiful and spaceful, and I was grateful surprised with everything, also there are 2 jacuzzis!! They made me enjoy a lot. Definitely it was the best choice I could ever have made. Thank you ❤️

Hi everyone, I am posting my experience of a well known hotel as I’d like to have all the information out there for those who may want to see all opinions before they book. I will add that I know opinions differ from person to person and everyone’s experience is unique, that being said our stay was so dismal and the customer service so bad that I would hate for anyone else to have the same experience. We stayed at the comodora playa in early September. We previously stayed there in 2016 and in the years since have stayed in the Sol palmanova. Reverence mare, the Cala blanca before it was zell and innside calvia beach ( amazing) to name just some of the four star hotels we have the comparison of. Firstly the view is 5 star and our experience there in 2016 was lovely. We paid more for the comodoro this year than for the reverence mare last year so a decent amount. We paid for a premium room a room higher up with a better view although frankly they all must have the same great view. The first room had two single beds I had requested a double but the room was not clean at all. Dust and debris on the floors a dirty shower, hairs on the bed and on the shower tray, peeling wood on door frames and wardrobes, mould spots on the curtains and old grimy sheets that were so worn you could see through. It was late evening when we arrived and so we stayed the first night. Also the room smelled of drains or sewage we slept with the balcony door open. The next morning we complained and noticed Martha the manager standing to the side and important fact as she told me I should have spoken to her from day one I reminded her she was there when I initially complained as she asked the receptionist what was going on as I was leaving reception to move to the next room. she obviously decided to focus on the double bed change and later told me that was my issue in the first room and not the hygiene complaints. The dodging and denying of the facts is next level there. Anyway we were only there for a short time so accepted a room change one floor down. this room was worse but initially with no sewage smell and we resigned ourselves to thinking they must be all the same. The toilet seat moved to one side and had encrusted urine on the fittings also loose excrement on the bowl from the toilet brush as the maids had just cleaned it for us to move into. I honestly got overwhelmed and bought cleaning supplies to try clean myself and also asked them to send up someone to sweep the floors as they were full of hairs and debris. We had the most uncomfortable stay. I couldn’t get the encrusted urine off and on the second day in this room the sewage smell came. I sent an email to the commodoro website they forwarded it to Martha. We spent all our time out of the room and when there on the balcony I even used the lobby bathroom rather than the room one. Martha tried to contact us she says several times but we were out. Her reply to me was she had new sheets and towels bough

Lovely hotel, very clean and nice large rooms with stunning views only downside is you do not get any sun on the balcony at any time of the day. The pool sun is limited but you have to move about to keep in the sun. Lovely walks along the promenade at night with local bars having live music. Breakfast is ok but the orange juice is dilute and just above water. Evening meal is adequate never seen a roast all week and I would only give it 6 / 10 for food at night. Plenty of restaurants near by. No reps at hotel but 500 meters hotel st Lucia globales where they have 3 reps all day to give you any info. Went to hire a car 59 euro per day plus 10 euro to park in hotel grounds as no room to park in street. Would I return to hotel no but would come back to Palma nova at a different hotel.

Let’s be honest, this hotel is a 3 stars hotel, with 5 stars location on the beach and 4 stars prices. Stayed 3 nights here, enjoyed the beach front location very much, amazing views, easy access by taxi to Palma or airport, walking distance to any shops, bars or restaurants. But I didn’t like to pay more than 350 euros a night for a 3 star hotel room. I was luckily on the top 8th floor, booked the Sky Terrace room which had fantastic views but the quality of the room is average. Basic furniture, small pillows, no welcome mini-bar or free bottle of water provided, low quality TV. WiFi signal was slow. AC is not the best. The terrace could have been cleaner as well as sunbeds. Breakfast quality is ok not great. Staff seemed stressed and not so welcoming. Dirty table cloth. Pool area is dirty (shower area especially), no security check for people from outside the hotel. Front desk staff could improve their way of being nice and more welcoming. Overall a pricey hotel for what you pay. Quality of rooms should be upgraded.
