We stayed at the Don Pablo 2 years ago , but now closed for renovations, so we opted for the Don Pedro located on same premises. As you might expect there is construction noise emanating from the renovations next door , plus all the common at the Pablo are off limits, so you miss out on the larger restaurant, patio, reception area, and the showplace. All the Don Marco clients dine at the Pedro restaurant so it gets full all the time. Rooms are older and quite small , plus the bathroom area offers no privacy from other room occupants. There is no comparison with the Pablo rooms and facilities which were near perfection. Been here for 2 weeks so far and another 2 to go. The weather has made up for many shortcomings but we sure miss the Pablo. Food is always good with many choices, but the small size of the dining area makes for a noisy environment, and the traffic back and forth is incessant. Choose your seating away from the serving area for a more peaceful experience. Cleaning crew is magnificent, rooms are always done right , and grounds also. Our room was ready at check in at 9:30 am and much appreciated after coming from Canada and dealing with the time change.
