The hotel is located right across the beach and within walking distance from the train station. There are lots of facilities such as pools, spa, bar, restaurants, etc. The room itself is basic and looks a bit dated. The sea view is great. Not the best service I have had.

Has anyone stayed over Christmas just wondering what it's like, do they serve Christmas dinner, do they have any different entertainment? We are staying from Christmas eve for six nights all inclusive, have never been abroad before for Christmas

nous avons séjourné dans cet hotel du 1 novembre au 10 novembre 2024 hotel excellent serviettes changés tous les jours drap fréquemment changés all inclusive parfait boisson international servies en face de la plage je recommande cet hotel manque un petit séchoir pour les serviette.

First visit to this hotel. We are frequents travellers who usually stay in Benalmadena or La Caruela. I can honestly say that we have now found our favourite hotel. Everything about this place is amazing. Beautiful grounds. Staff who can't do enough for you. Friendly efficient check in. Lovely clean spacious room. The best pillows we have had since visiting our last Melia hotel in Isla Canela ( it must be a Melia thing). Excellent food with plenty of choices. The hotel is a resort comprising of 3 hotels. Only 2 were open at the time of our stay but we would happily stay in any of the three. They offer a varied entertainment programme including evening entertainment and daily activities. The hotel is a 10 - 15 minute walk from Torremolinos train station. Bus route near by. Easy access to other surrounding places of interest. Malaga, Mijas, Benalmadena to name a few. We are frequent travellers but by far for quality, value for money and overall satisfaction, this place is a winner. Can not recommend enough. We will definitely return.

I would normally rate our visits 5 but unfortunately this visit I felt like standards were dropping a bit. We have stayed at all 3 hotels in the complex many times over the past few years and always found the hotel brilliant. This time we decided to stay in Don Marco for the first time and, due to it being my 60th birthday we decided to upgrade to an Xtra Room with a poolside view. First impressions of the room was positive. A couple of suggestions I would make would be a towel hanger on the balcony, and that the light in the corridor went off on a night as this did illuminate our room. My criticism is that in our 7 night stay the room was only cleaned 3 times and therefore the towels only changed 3 times. We seemed to be forgotten as we were the only room occupied on this floor. I also expected a bottle of bubbly on my birthday which I have had for the last 3 years. I felt we paid more for the room but got less. The food in the restaurant as always was very good, but again an example of standards slipping was 2 nights we had to find our own table and wait for it to be set, 2 nights we were not approached at all to order drinks, and one night somebody accidentally dropped and broke a plate. Even though this was pointed out to at least 5 members of staff it was not cleared up and left, causing a hazard near the food counter. I know these may only seems like very minor issues and we did really enjoy our stay again , but I feel I need to pint them out as I would hate standards to slip at the Sol Complex as it is somewhere we love to come to and think of it as our happy place.

O mesmo tem acomodações completas, ambientes para bater um papo e descansar, várias piscinas e bares, café da manhã generoso, limpeza impecável dos ambientes e tem uma boa localização estratégica, perto de lojas, mercados e bares, uma praia magnífica em sua frente

Generally a very good hotel. We had an issue with the room on arrival. The room was an extra with sea view. It had side windows that had pull down blinds that were broke. A maintenance man told us that it was a manufacturers issue and couldn't be fixed. We were moved the following day to another extra sea view room. Thanks to Debora on reception who sorted it. The major problem with the sea view rooms despite the extra cost is the excess noise from the Irish bar just below on the street. It is horrendous and goes on all day and most of the night. It only subsided briefly during our stay when a fight broke out and on of the protagonists nearly went under the wheels of a car. It has to be said that this bar is not part of the hotel and outside their control but if they are charging extra for these rooms perhaps they should warn guests. Enough moaning this a good hotel and part of a good complex. We shall certainly check out the Don Pedro part once this has been upgraded.

10 out of 10 from check in ,cleanliness , entertainment staff, bar staff, reception staff, cleaners , air con in the room , 0 out of 10 for the no bathroom set up , who designed it , you walk in the room and the basin is on the right , the toilet cubicle is behind a frosted glass door, and the shower cubicle is behind a frosted glass door no shelf or hooks in it , no bathroom ,really also no wardrobe just a room divider to hang your clothes ,

Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel già sette anni fa, per la prima volta. Ora siamo tornati dopo la Ristrutturazione, e l'abbiamo apprezzato ancora di più. L'hotel non dispone di Ristorante, percio' è molto silenzioso e tranquillo, ed essendo per soli ADULTI è frequentato prevalentemente da persone non giovanissime che la sera rientrano in determinati orari e pertanto è consigliato ad una clientela che cerca calma e tranquillità. Anche gli spettacoli serali si tengono nelle altre strutture, così come l'animazione, percio' permette un vero relax. I buffet, sia al Don Pedro che al Don Pablo sono squisiti; si trova davvero di tutto, ed il personale è gentilissimo. La struttura è sempre stata pulita in toto, e la nostra camera veniva consegnata sempre perfettamente in ordine. Pur essendoci pochi italiani, ci hanno inserito i canali della RAI TV. Desideriamo ringraziare in primis il Manager Dottor Borja Fernandez, sempre disponibile con il Cliente con professionalità estrema; successivamente i nostri ringraziamenti vanno (per quanto riguarda i Ristoranti) al Signor Daniel, alla Signora Lola, ed al cameriere Signor Godoy, per la gentilezza e competenza che hanno in ogni momento, per il velocissimo check in alla Signora Maribel, e a tutto il personale che abbiamo conosciuto che ha fatto il possibile per rendere positiva la nostra vacanza, e di cui non abbiamo la possibilità di elencare tutti i nominativi. Siamo stati così bene che stiamo già cercando le date per prenotare la nostra prossima vacanza!
