Located at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, it is very convenient to drive to Naples and Pompeii. It was an unexpected surprise of this trip! The landlord's family really makes travelers feel at home, with all kinds of attentive care, and you can get many good suggestions you want. The tasteful interior decoration is hidden under the simple appearance of the country villa. The various facilities in the room are also very comfortable, and the hot water response is particularly fast. I like the rich breakfast every day the most. It is cooked by the landlord's mother. The fruits come from the landlord's orchard. I especially like the sweet figs! I originally planned to stay for only one day, but my family asked to stay for another night after checking in! So we stayed for two nights in total!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! This is truly an amazing place. The location of the villa is perfect - a 25 minute drive from the centre of Naples/ airport, very close to Vesuvius and Pompeii, as well as a day trip away from the Amalfi coast - plus much more!
The room we stayed in was more than comfortable and the interior design was amazing. The breakfast included with our stay was delicious and the views from the balcony were beautiful, with Vesuvius on one side and a sea view including Capri on the other side.
After reading some of the other reviews we were slightly concerned about transportation as we weren’t planning on renting a car, however this wasn’t a problem at all once we were there. The Villa partner with a local tourism business that offer pick up/ drop off to the main sights around the area for a reasonable price. We used this service to go to the Amalfi coast on one day and Vesuvius/ Pompeii another day, both tours were amazing.
I have to say that the best thing about our stay was the hospitality and service we received from Antonio and Pasquale. They really went above and beyond to make us feel at home and made sure that we had everything we needed to ensure we had a good experience, they will cater to any of your needs. They are easy to communicate with through WhatsApp and always reply quickly. They are both extremely friendly and professional, with extensive knowledge about the local area.

We loved our stay at Villa De Cillis Carafa. Property and rooms were beautiful. An oasis after tiring days. Staff was wonderful . Special shoutout to Pasquale who was awesome with assistance and recommendations. If we ever return to the area, couldn't imagine staying anywhere else.

We were delighted by our stay at Villa De Cillis Carafa. This villa is beautifully restored in incredible detail. The rooms are large, comfortable and very clean. The weather was quite hot during our visit but our room was very cool with effective air conditioning. The location is remarkable, with an excellent view of Mt. Vesuvius and pleasant grounds including lemon trees. The staff were also top notch: extremely knowledgeable about the history of the property and the area.
