Situated on top of a cliff, this place has some great views and walks along the coastline. Wish we had known beforehand as we would probably have stayed a second night as there is a lot to see in the area. Its hilly terrain so probably not suitable for everyone, but looking at the elderly guests this has certainly not put anyone off. Rooms might be a tad dated, but not enough to put me off staying here again. There was a coach party staying, and I was impressed with the speed and efficiency the staff dealt with them at dinner and breakfast. I think Paignton is probably better suited to families with small children, and Torquay for couples. Beds were comfortable, showers efficient, rooms warm. They appear to have a high turn over of guests, and I can see why. Food reasonably priced, limited choice, perfect for those who cant decide, and arrived quickly on hot plates. Would certainly stay here again
