Great B&B, it ticked all the boxes for us firstly with cleanness, our room was cleaned and restocked every day, great hospitality and great breakfast, for us it was perfictly situated just a five-minute walk to the sea front ,we shall defiantly be returning to The Mariners, a big thankyou to our hosts Dave & Annette for such an enjoyable stay

What a find ! We really can’t fault the Mariners . Lovely hosts whose attention to detail is impeccable - we felt like we were staying with a friend . The whole place is spotless , the breakfast is fabulous , the bed was like sleeping on a cloud ! We will definitely be returning & wont hesitate to recommend the place to family & friends . A real gem !

Just returned from a lovely break and short stay at the Mariners. Spotless, comfy beds. Good breakfast. Full english plus continental. Dave was very friendly and gave us good tips on places to eat and visit. 3 parking spaces around the back of property so its on a first come basis but I beleive there is free parking in some of the side streets. Lovely stay would reccomend. Thank you Dave

Owner was very welcoming and very helpful with regards to busses and excursions. Our room was very clean and even had a mini fridge in the room which was a bonus. Comfy beds but showerroom was a little on the snug side. Delicious breakfasts every morning with lots to choose from. Bus/train and sea front a short walk away. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Today is our last morning at The Mariners after a week's stay. Honestly cannot fault this hotel in anyway, it is spotlessly clean, comfortable with an amazing breakfast, everything has been thought of which makes your stay here enjoyable. Owners are very knowledgeable about the local area and very helpful. We would return and recommend.

Went here for last minute break for 2 nights. Lovely clean, comfortable room. Toiletries provided and nice large tfluffy towels. A good selection on the te/coffee tray. The breakfast was cooked perfectly (full english). Cereals and fruit juice to start. Also fresh fruit yoghurt and cereal to help yourself to. Rounded off with toast which you could also help yourself to. Host very attentive and helpful with directions for places of interest. He suggested Bull and Bush for evening meal and the food was lovely.

An exceptional stay in comfortable and clean surroundings. Dave was a great host, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. You couldn't wish for more. Room was lovely, every detail thought of and a really comfy bed. Shower was lovely and hot with great water pressure. Super breakfast too!

From the minute we arrived at the Mariners Dave was very welcoming and check in was also made very easy. The rooms are highly decorated and comfortable and clean and a mini fridge was a bonus too Breakfast was cooked to order and was vey tasty and could help yourselves to juice,toast, cereal yogurt and fruit and as many hot drinks that you could drink Dave was also on hand to help with the local pubs and area A very pleasant, comfortable stay and wouldn’t hesitate in booking this B&B again

Absolutely first class experience at the mariners Room was spotless ensuite spotless too We had a room at the front noisy road but expected but not bothered by it Breakfast was amazing with a choice of cereals and hot cooked breakfast Served with a smile by the great host dave Incredible place Parking was very very useful
