Tongquetai Jinling Grand Hotel
9.6 (2,088 reviews)

Tongquetai Jinling Grand Hotel ★★★★★

📍 Jianshe East Road West Section, Yi'an District, Tongling

"The room is clean and tidy, and the service is meticulous. It is worthy of being the leader of Tongling hotels. This time I came for a short time. If I had more time, I could bring running shoes and run around the Tianjing Lake. The sunset at the lake at the door is beautiful. When it is cold, they specially prepare hot mineral water for you when you check out. Very considerate!"

📍 20 meters northwest of the Entrance of Yongquan Yijiangnan Scenic Area, Zhangting Village, Zhongming Town, Yi'an District, Tongling

"Had a great stay, the room was very clean, and the town itself has lovely green surroundings. Being able to enjoy a hot spring bath right in the room was a huge plus! There are plenty of dining options in the town, and the 12 scenic spots are beautiful – no need to go all the way to Jiangnan. Very satisfied."

📍 Building 6, Italian-style Street, Jiangnan Cultural Park, Wusong Town, Tongguan District, Tongling

"It is said that lightning protection is a bit serious, but the experience is indeed very average. The waiters I came into contact with didn't smile the whole time. There was a banging sound in the room, like someone slamming the door, the laundry room was dirty, and the breakfast was even more messy."

📍 No. 66, Liqiao Water Town, Mingtang Village, Xilian Town, Yi'an District, Tongling

"Not recommended. The walking was exhausting, breakfast was quite far from the accommodation, and there was no shuttle bus to the performance area. They said there would be a car to take us to lunch when we arrived, but it never happened. The service from the staff in the scenic area was also just so-so."

Tongquetai Jinling Grand Hotel ★★★★★
"The hotel has a good environment, facing the lake, with large rooms and good food. The front desk service is thoughtful, and I would like to thank the lobby manager Du for her patience and meticulousness in guiding guests to check in, escorting them to the guest room floor, and arranging ticketing in advance, which makes people feel very cordial and at home."

Tongling Yongquan Town ★★★★★
"The house was quite clean, with two rooms, and very comfortable to stay in. The kids had a great time too; they enjoyed the hot springs, rode the cloud ladder and glass slide, grabbed red envelopes, and both won 30 copper coins playing the 'throwing the pot' game, which made them very happy. They even bought some souvenirs they liked. The scenery inside is beautiful and perfect for a vacation. The hotel shuttle can be hailed at any time, and the stay also includes tickets for the Twelve Scenes of Jiangnan and the hot springs, so there's no need to buy separate tickets. The food in the scenic area was decent, but it's worth asking for prices, as bottled water was surprisingly only two yuan each. For games, the dice rolling and 'throwing the pot' games on the mountain seemed easier to win than those at the bottom. Dice rolling was pretty easy to get, while 'throwing the pot' was more about luck. The hotel also offers a shuttle service to the station. Although the driver couldn't make it later, the hotel reimbursed me for the taxi fare, which was very responsible of them. Thumbs up!"

Shanshui Yuntian Holiday Hotel ★★★★
"I stayed at the Shanshui Yuntian Hotel for 5 nights on this business trip. For the first 4 days, I received one new and one old bath towel – the old ones were yellowed and had many holes. On the last day, I was given two old bath towels and an old face towel, all yellowed, which I absolutely dared not use. The experience was extremely poor, and I have pictures."

"I must give this hotel a big praise! The internal environment is very good and the decoration style is very good. The room is clean and tidy, you can see the intentions in the details, the lake view room has large floor-to-ceiling windows, the scenery is particularly good! The food tastes very good, the choice is also very rich, the lake view restaurant is very popular. The front desk service is more intimate and thoughtful, responsive, will definitely come back to live 👍"

Liqiao River Town Resort ★★★★
"The housekeeping staff kept knocking on my door around 7 AM, and I had to say several times that I was sleeping before they left. My child was already awake. Whether it was to clean or to check out, it shouldn't have been past 7 AM! The front desk didn't offer a reasonable explanation, not even an apology. They even brought up other guests, saying maybe they couldn't find the housekeeping staff and just knocked on the wrong door! How ridiculous! Later, I checked the security footage and it was confirmed that the housekeeping staff had knocked on my door very early in the morning, saying she needed to clean! The front desk still didn't apologize. When I checked out and wanted my deposit back, even though it was pre-authorized, the front desk insisted on finding their own POS slip. And since they keep the POS slips haphazardly, I had to search for them one by one, and in the end, I couldn't find mine. They even told me to ask the bank if they had refunded it! Earliest housekeeping! Most frustrating hotel service! Slowest check-out!"
