Takaragawa Onsen Ousenkaku
"The lack of a private toilet in the bedroom is quite uncomfortable. The staff was very helpful and polite. The dinner wasn't very good and the portions quite small. However the onsen are beautiful."
Kawaba Onsen Kayabuki No Gensen Yuyado Yutorian&Annex Yuzan
"I have been here many times and it is a wonderful inn. It is a rare inn with a monorail inside the building. The building is also like a museum, so it is worth exploring. The hot springs are also great."
Tatsumikan
"Very good service environment Good dinner and breakfast"
Oze Kogen Hotel
"I used it to go to Oze, but it was convenient because there was a pick-up to Hatomachi Pass. The meal was a buffet, but it was delicious. After all, it was very reasonable and good."
Minakami Hotel Juraku
"The dinner and breakfast buffets are the best! I was impressed by the luxury of the live kitchen. The French toast and homemade rice balls for breakfast are a must-try! There is free flow, and they also offer a wide range of services such as beer and ice cream after the bath. The staff were very friendly, and I would definitely like to stay here again."
Hirando Ryokan
"Although it states that meals are not included, both dinner and breakfast are provided. This is a picture of the dinner, which was very generous. The host was also very friendly. The location was right next to the bus station, making it very convenient to board the bus the next morning. However, there are no amenities nearby, so it's recommended to prepare food for the hike and check in at a convenient time."
Minakami Onsen Aratashi Minakami
"What a surprise. A gem. Spacious room. Small hot bath on the terrace with a view on the river. Initially, looking at the dining room, I thought food would be basic. BUT the set menu was really really good. 10/10. 1 michelin star. A series of small so well presented european dishes with a small touch of Japanese cuisine. Une oeuvre d'art. Excellent. Breakfast, Japanese or European. Excellent too. Staff was great too. We will definitely come back."
Houshi Onsen Chojukan
"An amazing place which naturally loses some points on location, but that’s its uniqueness. The history and Meiji architecture makes it an absolute alternative hotel, with the historical onsens with snow seeping in an absolute heaven. Staff service was impeccably Japanese. Only downside was there being beetle like bugs and spiders all over the onsen with sticky tapes provided in the room for self-capture. Maybe an inevitable situation unfortunately."
Ryokan Tanigawa
"It was my first hot spring ryokan in Japan and I enjoyed it successfully."
