We had a fantastic night's stay and rest at Tomar story. It was extremely clean and the room was decorated beautifully. We loved the themed aspect of our room and the window and view of the river was beautiful. The hotel staff were lovely and looked after our luggage outside of the check in / checkout times. Tomar is a brilliant riverside town and the visit to the Castle and Church of Christ to see the Knights Templar headquarters has been the highlight of our Portuguese tour.

Easily the best hotel I’ve stayed in Portugal. Super central in the historic center, the main street is just a few meters away.
The hotel itself is so amazing! Very clean, super fast wifi, great rain shower with very good pressure, spacious toilet & shower area, comfortable beds. All incredibly good amenities.
My visit to my most favorite small town in Portugal was complemented with my stay in my most favorite hotel in Portugal. Wish I had stayed longer!

Struttura in posizione molto comoda, vicina anche a parcheggi pubblici gratuiti. Servizio reception presente e colazione a pagamento opzionale (della quale non abbiamo usufruito). Pulita (a parte il bordo della doccia , un po' nero) e ordinata. Purtroppo però la stanza che ci è capitata era una di quelle con il letto situato in una nicchia accessibile attraverso due gradini, una soluzione non molto comoda.

Chambre très propre, lit confortable, un peu bruyant cote rue, très bien situé pour visiter tomar. Machine à café du petit déjeuner très très très lente. Pas de cafetière en chambre ni bouilloire, dommage. Belle vue sur le canal pour nous. Point négatif, peu d éclairage dans la salle de bain et pas de miroir sur pied

Received warm welcome on arrival. Given good recommendation for local restaurants. Booked Room 32 with view of Castle.... biggest mistake. You enter into the bed which is a raised platform built into an alcove with high step. Which results in you having to crawl up or shuffle along to get into. During the night my wife got up to go to the toilet and her heel caught on the edge of the step.She sustained injuries to her wrist and knee whilst falling on the floor. For the rest of the night we put the mattress on the floor and managed approx 2 hours sleep I reported this to the lady on reception who only apologised and offered no recompense we had paid on full on arrival. We advised that to ensure safety they should place a lamp on the table which would have assisted. Not a good start to our holiday.

La struttura è in buonissima posizione, vicinissima al centro. Qualche difficoltà fermarsi davanti per lasciare i bagagli perchè è su una strada molto trafficata e priva di parcheggi. L'addetta all reception è stata gentilissima; è uscita a prendere i bagagli e ci ha indicato un grande parcheggio a 200 metri (quello dove si tiene il mercato). Camera molto bella e spaziosa, pulitissima dotata di angolo cottura. Bel bagno funzionale. E' un posto dove tornerei volentieri
