The hotel room is small, it is tatami, the hotel service is not good, there is no room cleaning service during the day. The room bathroom is very small. This room can accommodate up to three people and barely live in four people. You can save money.

Too many great things to say about Mimaru Kinshicho to make this a short review but a very well deserved max rating from us as a travelling family of 5 from the UK. We booked the Theatre double bunk family room for a week. Firstly LOCATION, Excellent location situated less than 10 mins walk to Kinshicho station which has great transport links to Tokyo Station (3 stops on the Sobu Rapid) and Akhihabara/Shinjuku Stations on the Chuo Sobu, both of which more importantly are on JR lines and hence are JR Pass friendly, no need for an extra ticket if you already have a JR Pass! Kinshicho location itself is already a bustling area surrounded by large department stores, entertainment and food places so in terms of local ammenities, Kinshicho is abundant. Now onto the ApartHotel itself.. STAFF & SERVICE An array of multi lingual/multi cultural staff as well as being able to speak other foreigh languages all spoke perfect English so for the travelling foreigner, it was so refreshing to be able to communicate easily. Extremely polite staff all young and enthusiastic serving with a smile. They also offer to receive delivered luggages so when we sent out luggages from Osaka during our first leg of the Japan trip, not only were Mimaru happy to receive it, they also delivered the luggages straight to our room on arrival so our luggages was in the room ready and waiting for us. Little touches that we really appreciated. ROOM The best part - Modern, clean and fresh but most importantly for a city like Tokyo, the apartment was extremely large and spacious. Hotel rooms in Tokyo have always been tiny and cramped so our mindset always expected that so when upon entering this room, it exceeded our expectations. Had nice perks such as projection screen with smart TV capabilities such as Youtube, Netflix, phone screen mirrorring. A double sink area with a wetroom and large bath tub. An extra bedroom with 2 single beds (to quarantine the loud snorer like me) as well as the double bunk bed in the main studio room that easily sleeps 4. A large seating area and table that will comfortable seat six large adults. Very satisfied with the room choice and the best we've stayed in during all our previous stays in Japan. NEGATIVES/CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK I only have one very minor gripe. It is great that this place offers a large list of free-to-loan essential items (Like rice cooker, toaster, adapters etc) but I feel it is missing and could benefit from a fair usage policy on the items or at least on more popular items such as the iron and ironing board. When customers loan items, it is entirely up to them as and when they decide to return the items. This is why we waited for over 2 days for an iron and ironing board to become available. I feel the ApartHotel staff can reserve the right to retrieve loan items daily during housekeeping and if people requires the items, they can request it again from reception. CONCLUSION Third visit to Japan and have to say ApartHotels are th

Three in a private room that is big enough in comparison with other hotels we stay. However the bathroom was small would suggest to have a towel bar or hanging place on wall. The bar on shower doors are too small to hang. Also not sure of their luggage storage policy after check out. Some said free, some said is not free. We booked two nights and when checked in, I asked about storage after checkout, was told it would be free. But when at the time of checked out, I was asked to pay by $200 yen per luggage by another person there. It seemed to me those are not permanent employees but part time travelers and working in exchange of room stay.

If you would like to have a very beautiful view of the Tokyo SKYTREE Tower, book the family room that offers you this view!!
It’s amazing to be able to see the tower day and night.
Asakusa View Hotel gives that grandeur of a 5-star hotel at a reasonable pricing (not cheap for a family definitely).
It’s a nice place to stay to experience the nostalgic Asakusa and old Japan iconic temples, Ameyayoko Shopping District and at the same time just so close by to the new and trendy Skytree Town for a day of shopping too!
The bakery on the ground floor is amazing for my family of bread fanatics!! Everyday I spend like > ¥20,000 on shio buns and anpans!
Will definitely return again!!

Aman Tokyo sets a new standard for exceptional hard products. Despite a mishap on our first night when we returned from dinner to find our room uncleaned, the front desk manager promptly apologized and offered complimentary drinks. The head of housekeeping also personally apologized at breakfast and showered us with thoughtful gestures like a fruit platter and free laundry. Subsequently, our stay was faultless. Aman Tokyo also boasts stunning design and architecture and a strategic location near Otemachi station, Tokyo station, the Imperial Palace, and Ginza. Its awe-inspiring atrium leaves a lasting impression. The generously sized rooms, starting at 70 square meters, feature high ceilings throughout, with unforgettable views of the imperial gardens from the bed. Even the retractable TV showcases its thoughtful design, providing guests with an unobstructed view of the Tokyo skyline. The hotel's farewell was equally remarkable. Providing a complimentary hotel car transfer to Tokyo station, while being escorted by another staff member who went the extra mile to purchase our tickets, carry our luggage to the platform, store our luggage on the train and brought us to our seats. Undoubtedly, this luxury at Aman Tokyo comes at a price. However, delivers the sought-after wow factor for which its rates command. After all, Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world. From the grand lobby to the inviting pool and spacious rooms, the hotel impresses on many levels. Managing expectations is, however, key. It would be unrealistic to expect the usual Aman-type of service commonly associated with their other properties whose room counts are a lot smaller. While the initial mishap was regrettable, the subsequent personalized attention and meticulous service surpassed expectations for a city hotel with 80 rooms. Whether this was due to the initial mishap or reflective of their usual standards remains unknown, warranting another stay on my next visit to Tokyo.
Great care is taken to ensure guests experience comfort through top-notch services and amenities. Remain linked during your visit by utilizing the complimentary internet access available.Parking is accessible, supplied by the hotel for guests who arrive by car. Each morning at Mizue Dai-ichi Hotel, a scrumptious, homemade breakfast kick-starts the day. Begin your holiday mornings right with your essential cup of coffee, offered daily at the cafe on-site.Snack vending machines operate around the clock, providing you with easy access to treats regardless of the hour.

The hotel is right next to Ruijiang River on Shinjuku Line. The traffic is very convenient. The room space is OK, but the pillow is difficult to sleep. The first night I slept well with my pillow. The last 3 nights were sleepable with my own clothes. The faucet in the bathroom was old-fashioned. The hot and cold water had to be adjusted separately. But the water is not too small or too cold or too hot, a whole super difficult to use, bathing can be said to be a terrible thing, also because the water is difficult to adjust the relationship, if you want to put water in the bathtub, water will be put for a long time, will not consider living later.

This review will be hard to write, it's a very nice hotel but I also find it hard to recommend to tourists. Room: The Tokyo Tower view room is very pretty at night. The bed is comfy. I don't like having the closet on the opposite end of the sleeping area though, I find that very inconvenient when packing/getting ready. And for a hotel that opened in 2016, that TV is tiny and needs to be larger. The Aesop products are nice, and come in big bottles with pumps (which I prefer over tiny bottles). They also have the coolest slippers! Service: Concierge helped me reserve dinner, and had confirmation letter ready at check-in. Check-in/out was fast and easy. They offer free HH in lounge, I was pleasantly surprised to find live performance! Food offering during HH is pretty basic, but that's ok because I'd rather be eating in the city anyways. Evening turndown service could be enhanced a bit, may need to borrow a page from your colleagues at Grand Hyatt ;) Location: This is the one thing that truly sucks about this place for tourists. Toranomon Hills is a very business-heavy area, a ghost town after 6 p.m. There's no department stores, no shopping, only two convenience stores nearby, barely any dining options after 9 p.m. To do anything you'll need to get on a subway/taxi from hotel. The walk to the subway station is frankly a little longer than I like, but it's indoor underground which is nice for cold and rainy days. Overall, I would recommend a stay here if you're on a work trip and your office is in the area. Or you just have to check this place off your bucket list because of its design or the room with Tokyo Tower view. As a typical tourist in Tokyo who values convenience and accessibility to restaurants and shopping, I probably won't be back. It's a shame because this place has so much potential if it was in a better area, but I guess you can't have it all!

Adequate room size, clean (comes with air filter), complete amenities are provided and then some. They also have a self-service, first-come-first-serve locker/baggage room in case you arrive early before check-in time ( I believe it's also available if you checked-out and require a place to leave your luggage before moving to your next destination). Location wise, although it was manageable, it's still quite a distance from Shinjuku Stn and can be a challenge if lugging a suitcase or traveling with a kid. Overall is was a good experience, a nice comfortable space worth its price tag.

GGuest UserShiba Park Hotel is a beautiful, clean, quiet, elegant, fairly priced, stylish & cozy place. The rooms are large enough and the bathroom is modern, with all the amenities. In the room there is a safe, a large TV, comfortable sleepers and 2 brown cotton robes to wear when relaxing. We recommend to stay in this hotel to any tourist visiting the city, as it’s close to Daimon subway station and to many other attractions (Tokyo tower and Zojo-ji temple). Nice service, although the receptionists are a little slow. At floor 4 there’s a self service laundry (washer, drier and ironing board) that you can use with just 400 yens, at floor 8 there’s a water dispenser, and at floor 5 you can find a vending machine with cold water, sodas and beer! You can drink unlimited free coffee and tea at the main floor, and there’s a full restaurant at the entrance.
MMing KitRight next to Shinjuku JR Station,Takashimaya. Location is super convenient. The hotel room is right up high in the sky and you can have the best view of Tokyo. Breakfast is also good. And there are some good restaurants on the same building at 3rd/4th floor as well. (Picture are the view from hotel room and lobby)
CChengPerfect location for shopping with major malls located with 10mins walk. The hygiene of the street outside the hotel is below expectation but that’s not what the hotel is responsible for. Type C port next to the bed makes charging convenient. The self laundry service costs 600 yen for 2-hour washing and drying without the need to bring detergent. Another convenient service is the drinking fountain on each floor with the choice of iced, room temperature and hot water.
AAnonymous UserReally love this hotel. The room is very spacious and it iis very clean! The Aurora Sky Lounge is fantastic for a night drink, and the newly opened Sky Plaza Ibasho is also amazing for productive daytime where you can do some work, read or relax. The staff is really amazing too. I remember Nagai (I hope I get the name correctly) was very kind and helpled me search for my sunglasses when I misplaced it. Thank you so much Nagai and I really appreciate it. I hope to be back one day.
Ppraty-pp👍 good. And recommended. The hotel is perfectly located right next to the Akihabara Station. 🚉 the location is great not just for the connectivity but also shopping - Yodibashi Akiba for all electronics. There’s UniQlo, GU, and a lot of restaurants nearby.
Typical of Japanese hotels, the room sizes are quite small. It’s difficult to open two luggage at the same time. 😢
The room was clean, bathroom good as well. Bathtub 🛁 is good 👍.
AAnonymous UserHighly recommend anyone who wants to stay in Ginza and wants an onsen within the hotel as well. Can't explain the joy of coming back after a long day of 25k steps and soaking in an onsen. The hotel provides a bathrobe & outdoor slippers (not for room) so you can use that to move about the hotel. The onsen has shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well, so all you have to do is bring a towel that the hotel also provides. For anyone wondering, the hotel also has a coin operated washer and dryer. Can't remember the exact cost, but one cycle of washing and drying probably amounted to about 300 yen! Worth it to avoid doing laundry at home.
For the room itself, although it is small, with some expert maneuvering, we were able to open up 1 large and 1 small luggage to pack things. The is a typical Japanese sized room aka small, but it's rather functional so it works if you're just looking to get some shut eye. All in all, I recommend this hotel!
Ccloudy moonLocation is good. Take exit West(N, 20b) and walk straight after cross the zebra cross in front of Family Mart
Hotel rooms in Tokyo are generally small. I booked a 2 beds (with bunk beds) to have more space for us.
There are pillows for you to choose next to the life lobby and there are plenty of eateries nearby. Very convenient.
Nothing much for the breakfast. ¥1,000 can eat a lot more outside.
GGuest UserThe hotel uses self-service check-in. This time, we have two adults and a one-and-a-half-year-old baby. The room looks very big in the photo, but it would be a bit awkward to put two suitcases in. This time, I was more disappointed when I entered the room. I found that the cleaning was not very clean, there was a lot of hair from the previous tenant, and there was dust on the refrigerator. The towels provided by the hotel have a strong smell of bleach, so it is recommended to bring your own towels.
The location is about 15 minutes from the station. The only good thing is that the eel rice next door is delicious.
AAlexanderThe best budget hotel in Tokyo I could find. Location is great: Senso-ji temple is just around the corner, and Family Mart is two minutes away from the hotel. Close to Akihabara and Tokyo Sky Tree as well. For two person room, seven nights stay was less than $400!
The room itself has two beds and just enough space for two big luggage bags.
All the amenities you would expect to see in the 2 or 3 star hotel are present. The only thing I missed was the clothes dryer. Bathroom is clean and somewhat spacious.
Didn't have much chance to speak to the staff, but I think I've heard Chinese speach a lot.
Overall, quite enjoyable and affordable stay.
