I used it the day before I went to Kamakura, and it's close to Shinagawa Station, so transportation is very convenient, and there's a lot of food around the convenience store right next door, so I like it. The owner is also really friendly. However, they rent items like towels and toothpaste for a fee, so there's a lot to take with me. I took everything with me and stayed comfortably. came
The hotel is located adjacent to JR Shinagawa Station and it takes about 30 minutes by car to reach Haneda Airport. From the hotel, you can easily take public transportation to the bustling and vibrant Ginza area, where numerous flagship stores, high-end department stores, and century-old shops are gathered, offering a rewarding shopping experience in Tokyo's shopping paradise. The iconic Tokyo Tower is also not far from the hotel, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the vast and charming Tokyo skyline from the observation deck, and admire the dazzling lights of the tower in the evening. There are 7-11 convenience stores and drugstores surrounding the hotel, providing you with convenience. The hotel has a magnificent exterior, with light-colored walls and bright glass windows, which shine brilliantly under the warm sunlight, attracting attention and standing out. As you step into the hotel, you will be greeted by a glamorous and unique atmosphere. The lobby, with its main color tone of gold, exudes a luxurious and regal visual beauty, and the exquisite and elegant lighting showcases the hotel's attention to detail. The InterContinental Hotels Group brand is renowned in the industry for its first-class service and attentive staff, and the InterContinental Tokyo Shinagawa upholds this tradition, ensuring that you will not be disappointed. The hotel offers complimentary in-room wireless internet, 24-hour front desk, luggage storage service, room service, and conference facilities, aiming to provide maximum comfort for guests. I stayed at this hotel at the end of March 2023 and had an excellent stay. The location of the hotel is very convenient for us because it is connect to the Shinagawa train station via a short covered skyway. Shinagawa can be easily reached via train from NRT or HND airports. I have stayed at this hotel many times. Every time I have been treated very well. All the staff I have encountered were very courteous and professional. Room was very clean and comfortable with a very nice view of the surround area. There is a 7-11 store near the entry to the hotel thus very convenient if I want to buy drinking water or Japanese snacks. The breakfast buffet is very high quality and very delicious. I had such a nice stay and can not wait to go back again

Great location, very close to the train station. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable room. Although the 3rd bed is a pull-out sofa bed, it is sturdy and comfy. Room is quite small, if one person is moving about, the others have to stay on their beds. The staff are friendly and attentive. The bathroom is small but I love the high-quality aromatherapy soap and shampoo provided. This hotel might only be 3 stars, but the comfort level is beyond 3 stars.

1. Hotel and room. Room was pretty small as expected, clean. Didn’t like that the view was just the wall of another building. Hotel has its onsen, but i wasn’t allowed due to my tattoos.
2. Breakfast. Didn’t enjoy, not nutritious enough, not very tasty - a better decision would be to eat from konbini.
3. Location. It’s my favourite neighbourhood in Tokyo to stay but the location of this hotel was not perfect, the closest station is Shinbanba, but to get anywhere in the city u will have to go to Shinagawa and then start your journey as it’s a large hub station with various lines crossings. Shinbanba isn’t as good of a station also because the trains do not go as often here (every 10-15 only). If u like to walk u can get to Shinagawa in 20 minutes by foot.

The hotel is inexpensive but offers some luxury touches, like a hot springs pool, choice of daily beauty amenities and choice of pillows. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but clean and contain everything necessary. My only issue there was that although there are many USB ports in the room there were no plug sockets, so I had to use the laptop in the dining area. The breakfast was nice and plentiful in a restful and clean space. There was a choice of Western or Japanese breakfasts. This space can also be used in the evenings to eat brought-in food as there is a microwave for heating up food and some free drinks. The location is a little way out from the centre, but is a very short walk to the subway station and is on the direct train route for both Narita and Hanida airports, so it's well connected. The local area also has some nice restaurants and shops and I enjoyed being there. There are lots of thoughtful touches in the hotel that makes it great for travellers.

I decided to stay for another day and the reception was nice enough to give me the same room. I walked around Ariake in the morning. The place feels so futuristic. I walked to the Toyosu fish market at 5 to see tuna sell. Was very relaxing.

Adequate room size, clean (comes with air filter), complete amenities are provided and then some. They also have a self-service, first-come-first-serve locker/baggage room in case you arrive early before check-in time ( I believe it's also available if you checked-out and require a place to leave your luggage before moving to your next destination). Location wise, although it was manageable, it's still quite a distance from Shinjuku Stn and can be a challenge if lugging a suitcase or traveling with a kid. Overall is was a good experience, a nice comfortable space worth its price tag.

It is under new ownership and management. Name was changed but it is the previous Oak Hostel Fuji with the same beds and rooms. They renovated the kitchen lounge area. Looks nicer but the bed types are not comfortable to get in or out even if you had the lower bed. So, honestly it is overpriced as long as they have these painful beds. 5000 JPY will get you a private room at a hotel even around Tokyo. Or you can pay 1,000 JPY more to find a nice hotel around Asakusa or in Yokohama.

Near Narita airport with shuttle bus to Narita train station, Aeon mall and Narita airport. Hotel is with Lawson 24hrs convenience store and Onsen.
Breakfast is excellent with wide variety of local and international food. Recommend to choose the new wing rather than the old wing with bigger room as its old as suggested by previous hotel guests 👍

Outstanding
GGuest UserShiba Park Hotel is a beautiful, clean, quiet, elegant, fairly priced, stylish & cozy place. The rooms are large enough and the bathroom is modern, with all the amenities. In the room there is a safe, a large TV, comfortable sleepers and 2 brown cotton robes to wear when relaxing. We recommend to stay in this hotel to any tourist visiting the city, as it’s close to Daimon subway station and to many other attractions (Tokyo tower and Zojo-ji temple). Nice service, although the receptionists are a little slow. At floor 4 there’s a self service laundry (washer, drier and ironing board) that you can use with just 400 yens, at floor 8 there’s a water dispenser, and at floor 5 you can find a vending machine with cold water, sodas and beer! You can drink unlimited free coffee and tea at the main floor, and there’s a full restaurant at the entrance.
MMing KitRight next to Shinjuku JR Station,Takashimaya. Location is super convenient. The hotel room is right up high in the sky and you can have the best view of Tokyo. Breakfast is also good. And there are some good restaurants on the same building at 3rd/4th floor as well. (Picture are the view from hotel room and lobby)
CChengPerfect location for shopping with major malls located with 10mins walk. The hygiene of the street outside the hotel is below expectation but that’s not what the hotel is responsible for. Type C port next to the bed makes charging convenient. The self laundry service costs 600 yen for 2-hour washing and drying without the need to bring detergent. Another convenient service is the drinking fountain on each floor with the choice of iced, room temperature and hot water.
AAnonymous UserReally love this hotel. The room is very spacious and it iis very clean! The Aurora Sky Lounge is fantastic for a night drink, and the newly opened Sky Plaza Ibasho is also amazing for productive daytime where you can do some work, read or relax. The staff is really amazing too. I remember Nagai (I hope I get the name correctly) was very kind and helpled me search for my sunglasses when I misplaced it. Thank you so much Nagai and I really appreciate it. I hope to be back one day.
CCielYukiThe uniqueness of this five-star hotel is that it offers unparalleled comfort and first-class service. Whether you are traveling for business or vacation, we can meet your needs here. I was impressed with the modern amenities and thoughtful details in the hotel room. What's more worth mentioning is that the hotel's waiters always maintained smiles and enthusiasm, which made me feel more cordial and warm. If you are looking for a quality five star hotel then this hotel is undoubtedly your best choice.
Ppraty-pp👍 good. And recommended. The hotel is perfectly located right next to the Akihabara Station. 🚉 the location is great not just for the connectivity but also shopping - Yodibashi Akiba for all electronics. There’s UniQlo, GU, and a lot of restaurants nearby.
Typical of Japanese hotels, the room sizes are quite small. It’s difficult to open two luggage at the same time. 😢
The room was clean, bathroom good as well. Bathtub 🛁 is good 👍.
AAnonymous UserHighly recommend anyone who wants to stay in Ginza and wants an onsen within the hotel as well. Can't explain the joy of coming back after a long day of 25k steps and soaking in an onsen. The hotel provides a bathrobe & outdoor slippers (not for room) so you can use that to move about the hotel. The onsen has shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well, so all you have to do is bring a towel that the hotel also provides. For anyone wondering, the hotel also has a coin operated washer and dryer. Can't remember the exact cost, but one cycle of washing and drying probably amounted to about 300 yen! Worth it to avoid doing laundry at home.
For the room itself, although it is small, with some expert maneuvering, we were able to open up 1 large and 1 small luggage to pack things. The is a typical Japanese sized room aka small, but it's rather functional so it works if you're just looking to get some shut eye. All in all, I recommend this hotel!
Ccloudy moonLocation is good. Take exit West(N, 20b) and walk straight after cross the zebra cross in front of Family Mart
Hotel rooms in Tokyo are generally small. I booked a 2 beds (with bunk beds) to have more space for us.
There are pillows for you to choose next to the life lobby and there are plenty of eateries nearby. Very convenient.
Nothing much for the breakfast. ¥1,000 can eat a lot more outside.
GGuest UserThe hotel uses self-service check-in. This time, we have two adults and a one-and-a-half-year-old baby. The room looks very big in the photo, but it would be a bit awkward to put two suitcases in. This time, I was more disappointed when I entered the room. I found that the cleaning was not very clean, there was a lot of hair from the previous tenant, and there was dust on the refrigerator. The towels provided by the hotel have a strong smell of bleach, so it is recommended to bring your own towels.
The location is about 15 minutes from the station. The only good thing is that the eel rice next door is delicious.
