Seems like mostly local people from Asia and Japan. Not really for western tourists IMHO. It’s very quiet and respectful. You need to be self sufficient as there is no service. This is really important. It’s not a place for excited tourists with big expectations, excitement, entitlement and a lot of questions and needing help. No helping with translations, suggestions, or reservations. As English is also very limited. It’s not that kind of hotel. You should be tech savvy with the self check in and out kiosk process. Rooms are tiny and little claustrophobic so you should be a small person and not large. Don’t think you will necessarily get a room with all those windows in pics you’ve seen. Most rooms have 1 window like mine. You cannot make requests for floor preference or corner room or anything. You get what you get based on what room the kiosk assigns when you check in. You can not ask to change a room if you don’t like it. The luck of the draw. Rooms are really tiny and better for 1 person. We are a couple…one person has to climb over the bed to get off because there is no space and the mattress is up against the wall. We had to take turns in the morning to get ready. The other had to go to the lobby and wait. Toilet area is small and separate from small shower stall. There are no plug outlets for charging in the lobby. You only get 4 hangers in the room, that’s it, don’t ask for more. There are only 2 hooks where you hang the 4 hangers. Nowhere else to hang more than 1 wet towel or anything else. All your clothes and things end up in a high pile wherever you can put it. It’s very bare minimum. NO PLACE TO STORE LUGGAGE AFTER CHECK OUT so you’ve been warned. Go elsewhere as every other hotel does if you need it. Our next hotel was a similar rate that was 50% bigger that stored luggage both before and after our stay.

The location is great. There is a popular Starbucks designed by Kengo Kuma at the door. There are few people in the morning and you don't have to queue. It is very convenient to visit Nakameguro Daikanyama. It takes more than 20 minutes to walk there. The comfort level is very high. The subway station takes more than ten minutes to get there, which is also acceptable. There is a bus stop to Shibuya a few steps away from the hotel. You can take buses 43, 33, and 31. The airport bus station is next to the Shibuya terminal. So it is recommended to take the bus to Kankari Elementary School Station in Shibuya for luggage, which is more convenient and saves a lot of walking. The hotel room is relatively small and comfortable for one person. The surface of the room is clean, but there is a lot of dust in the corners. The hotel hot spring only has female hot springs on Saturday and Sunday evenings, and male hot springs at other times. The free coffee machine and free popsicles on the first floor are still very considerate.
See the best of Tokyo with a stay at Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya, which puts you right in the city center amidst the many sights and landmarks such as Shibuya Scramble, Shibuya Sky, Hachiko statue and many more. With its convenient location 5 minutes away from Shibuya station, you can easily access to the city's must-see destinations. At each room comes with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a seating area, a TV with satellite channels, a safety deposit box and a private bathroom with a bidet, free toiletries and a hairdryer.
Fitness Centre is open 24hours and unwind at the 3rd floor Cafe with your morning coffee. The 11th floor restaurant with all-day dining, terrace seating and bar lounge is the perfect place to unwind and take in an overlooking view of Shibuya.

Hotel is absolutely stunning and the rooms are big by Tokyo standards. It’s about a 7 minute walk to the JR and the famous Shibuya Scramble, and about 4 minutes from the nearest exit / entrance to the subway. Rooms are beautifully decorated and the in house restaurant has a beautiful outdoor area as well. A little bit on the pricey side but worth it if you want a bit of luxury while in Japan.

Until 3 days ago, the FS on Koh Samui was in a terrible eye. Our first time stay here but we really liked our stay!
-service : Hotel stuffs are all nice and friendly and trying to be helpful!
-room: it’s quite small but I like that there are one work desk and another small desk which was very convenient as we are 2 of us. Lovely view from our room with Mount Fuji view in the morning if weather is well.
-location: very good location, it’s just by the Shinagawa station and about 5mins walk. There are a lot of restaurants and shops around so no need to go to other place to eat! And many good food around!
We will come back again!

Hotel is located across from the station, about 5-7min walk. the hotel is behind some building that's on the main road. Just gps it's general direction and walk towards it, then pay attention for writing/signs that direct you to the lobby. Hotel comes with its own mini plaza, with retail shops, food court, restaurant, kids bowling, convenient store, tax free shops, cosmetics, pharmacy, etc. Service is efficient and polite. The room is small obviously because it is Tokyo Japan. But the room is Japanese clean, so you can be sure that comfort level is there. Everything in the room serves a purpose and no space is wasted. typical Japan plastic cramped bathroom, yet very clean, spotless, feels newer, strong shower flow that will ease your full day of walking around town.

Adequate room size, clean (comes with air filter), complete amenities are provided and then some. They also have a self-service, first-come-first-serve locker/baggage room in case you arrive early before check-in time ( I believe it's also available if you checked-out and require a place to leave your luggage before moving to your next destination). Location wise, although it was manageable, it's still quite a distance from Shinjuku Stn and can be a challenge if lugging a suitcase or traveling with a kid. Overall is was a good experience, a nice comfortable space worth its price tag.

An exclusive sanctuary high above Japans cosmopolitan capital Aman Tokyo is Amans first urban concept hotel situated adjacent to the Otemachi Forest. Offering birds eye views of the Imperial Palace Gardens and surrounding Tokyo landmarks the hotel features a serene Aman Spa and a peaceful inner garden. Surrounded by engawa a wooden feature dividing the inside and out the soaring lobby rises nearly 30 metres.
Aman Tokyo is a monument to the modern-day Japanese capital - a place where urban dynamism is tempered with serenity.
Perched above the Tokyo skyline the private dining room and boardroom are perfect for both on- and off-duty occasions.

Aman Tokyo sets a new standard for exceptional hard products. Despite a mishap on our first night when we returned from dinner to find our room uncleaned, the front desk manager promptly apologized and offered complimentary drinks. The head of housekeeping also personally apologized at breakfast and showered us with thoughtful gestures like a fruit platter and free laundry. Subsequently, our stay was faultless. Aman Tokyo also boasts stunning design and architecture and a strategic location near Otemachi station, Tokyo station, the Imperial Palace, and Ginza. Its awe-inspiring atrium leaves a lasting impression. The generously sized rooms, starting at 70 square meters, feature high ceilings throughout, with unforgettable views of the imperial gardens from the bed. Even the retractable TV showcases its thoughtful design, providing guests with an unobstructed view of the Tokyo skyline. The hotel's farewell was equally remarkable. Providing a complimentary hotel car transfer to Tokyo station, while being escorted by another staff member who went the extra mile to purchase our tickets, carry our luggage to the platform, store our luggage on the train and brought us to our seats. Undoubtedly, this luxury at Aman Tokyo comes at a price. However, delivers the sought-after wow factor for which its rates command. After all, Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world. From the grand lobby to the inviting pool and spacious rooms, the hotel impresses on many levels. Managing expectations is, however, key. It would be unrealistic to expect the usual Aman-type of service commonly associated with their other properties whose room counts are a lot smaller. While the initial mishap was regrettable, the subsequent personalized attention and meticulous service surpassed expectations for a city hotel with 80 rooms. Whether this was due to the initial mishap or reflective of their usual standards remains unknown, warranting another stay on my next visit to Tokyo.

I decided to stay for another day and the reception was nice enough to give me the same room. I walked around Ariake in the morning. The place feels so futuristic. I walked to the Toyosu fish market at 5 to see tuna sell. Was very relaxing.

Outstanding
GGuest UserShiba Park Hotel is a beautiful, clean, quiet, elegant, fairly priced, stylish & cozy place. The rooms are large enough and the bathroom is modern, with all the amenities. In the room there is a safe, a large TV, comfortable sleepers and 2 brown cotton robes to wear when relaxing. We recommend to stay in this hotel to any tourist visiting the city, as it’s close to Daimon subway station and to many other attractions (Tokyo tower and Zojo-ji temple). Nice service, although the receptionists are a little slow. At floor 4 there’s a self service laundry (washer, drier and ironing board) that you can use with just 400 yens, at floor 8 there’s a water dispenser, and at floor 5 you can find a vending machine with cold water, sodas and beer! You can drink unlimited free coffee and tea at the main floor, and there’s a full restaurant at the entrance.
MMing KitRight next to Shinjuku JR Station,Takashimaya. Location is super convenient. The hotel room is right up high in the sky and you can have the best view of Tokyo. Breakfast is also good. And there are some good restaurants on the same building at 3rd/4th floor as well. (Picture are the view from hotel room and lobby)
CChengPerfect location for shopping with major malls located with 10mins walk. The hygiene of the street outside the hotel is below expectation but that’s not what the hotel is responsible for. Type C port next to the bed makes charging convenient. The self laundry service costs 600 yen for 2-hour washing and drying without the need to bring detergent. Another convenient service is the drinking fountain on each floor with the choice of iced, room temperature and hot water.
AAnonymous UserReally love this hotel. The room is very spacious and it iis very clean! The Aurora Sky Lounge is fantastic for a night drink, and the newly opened Sky Plaza Ibasho is also amazing for productive daytime where you can do some work, read or relax. The staff is really amazing too. I remember Nagai (I hope I get the name correctly) was very kind and helpled me search for my sunglasses when I misplaced it. Thank you so much Nagai and I really appreciate it. I hope to be back one day.
CCielYukiThe uniqueness of this five-star hotel is that it offers unparalleled comfort and first-class service. Whether you are traveling for business or vacation, we can meet your needs here. I was impressed with the modern amenities and thoughtful details in the hotel room. What's more worth mentioning is that the hotel's waiters always maintained smiles and enthusiasm, which made me feel more cordial and warm. If you are looking for a quality five star hotel then this hotel is undoubtedly your best choice.
Ppraty-pp👍 good. And recommended. The hotel is perfectly located right next to the Akihabara Station. 🚉 the location is great not just for the connectivity but also shopping - Yodibashi Akiba for all electronics. There’s UniQlo, GU, and a lot of restaurants nearby.
Typical of Japanese hotels, the room sizes are quite small. It’s difficult to open two luggage at the same time. 😢
The room was clean, bathroom good as well. Bathtub 🛁 is good 👍.
AAnonymous UserHighly recommend anyone who wants to stay in Ginza and wants an onsen within the hotel as well. Can't explain the joy of coming back after a long day of 25k steps and soaking in an onsen. The hotel provides a bathrobe & outdoor slippers (not for room) so you can use that to move about the hotel. The onsen has shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well, so all you have to do is bring a towel that the hotel also provides. For anyone wondering, the hotel also has a coin operated washer and dryer. Can't remember the exact cost, but one cycle of washing and drying probably amounted to about 300 yen! Worth it to avoid doing laundry at home.
For the room itself, although it is small, with some expert maneuvering, we were able to open up 1 large and 1 small luggage to pack things. The is a typical Japanese sized room aka small, but it's rather functional so it works if you're just looking to get some shut eye. All in all, I recommend this hotel!
Ccloudy moonLocation is good. Take exit West(N, 20b) and walk straight after cross the zebra cross in front of Family Mart
Hotel rooms in Tokyo are generally small. I booked a 2 beds (with bunk beds) to have more space for us.
There are pillows for you to choose next to the life lobby and there are plenty of eateries nearby. Very convenient.
Nothing much for the breakfast. ¥1,000 can eat a lot more outside.
GGuest UserThe hotel uses self-service check-in. This time, we have two adults and a one-and-a-half-year-old baby. The room looks very big in the photo, but it would be a bit awkward to put two suitcases in. This time, I was more disappointed when I entered the room. I found that the cleaning was not very clean, there was a lot of hair from the previous tenant, and there was dust on the refrigerator. The towels provided by the hotel have a strong smell of bleach, so it is recommended to bring your own towels.
The location is about 15 minutes from the station. The only good thing is that the eel rice next door is delicious.
