I've picked the Master Suite (Honeymoon) for my GF and a Siberian Husky for 3 nights. It's a ~22-hour roundtrip drive for us from ND, but absolutely worth it. Pictures don't do justice to the experience. It's truly breathtaking. Sitting in a Jacuzzi watching a snowstorm rage quite literally less than a foot away and in few hours the skies cleared up - that is an experience like no other. The rugged shoreline reminded me of Newfoundland (minus the fjords) but without taking the ferry as having the pet room means you can walk out the room straight onto the shore any time, which is a huge plus. I've only discovered North Shore 2 months ago on a random hiking trip when the leaves were changing so any piece of shore was swamped with people. Haven't met a soul in January (2nd weekend). We walked the freshly snowed shore for hours. Incredible. Same in the main pool/sauna. Spent two hours there at 5 pm and we were completely alone! Nobody's going to believe us that... Price wise, we actually paid about the same per night now as few months ago, except back then that was a chain motel, so I really cannot complain about the price (I got a 3-for-2 special on their own site). Of course,in season, since this is North Shore, prices are updated accordingly. But me and my Husky don't really care for summer crowds anyway. And now I finally understand why is North Shore priced this way. And will come back. To this very same Master Suite. To experience the National Geographic Views from the Jacuzzi. Hopefully with some blizzard, though I am grateful for the snowstorm too. Took me 47 years to find this gem of a place. Not letting it go, for sure...
