Small hotel close to beach (not waterfront and no sea view) in El Cuyo. Furthest north from downtown, about 15 mn walk. The hotel is poorly staffed and doesn’t have a soul. We were there over the holiday period and there was nothing festive about the experience. We stayed for 3 nights, the bar was open only the first night (at dusk till about 8pm, not sure if the restaurant actually offers dinner , that was unclear), there was zero service the following two nights, including on New Year’s Eve. Management had a party going on at a sister property about 7 minutes walk away, but that should not have have implied no service staff whatsoever at Lunarena from 5pm! The rooms are nice and spacious but beds are small doubles. We chose the hotel because there is a kite school on site, but in reality the kite school is not staffed every day.

Hotel needs TLC
The staff and food was good.
The hotel definitely needs some attention to. Very run-down. Fixtures rusted and don'twork well.. towels, bedding, and cushions are very worn.....concrete walls and floors need repair.

Ideal para desconectar,
Es excelente para cuando vas a desconectar, súper tranquilo, el desayuno muy rico y abundante.
Lo único es que en la página me salía que tenía refrigerador y ya no tienen las habitaciones, así que de preferencia contactarlos antes para asegurarse les den lo que publica la página.
Igual llevar bastante repelente ya que al estar rodeado de mangle hay demasiado.

Nos gustó mucho el hotel por qué es tranquilo y limpio. Las habitaciones con las que cuenta son amplias y cómodas. En general todo muy bien. El personal muy amable y accesible, me quedé con muy buena impresión de el lugar y del pueblo. Bastante recomendable.

El hotel muy limpio y a unos pasos de la playa, la atención del personal es excepcional, hacen todo para que disfrutes tu estancia! La ubicación nos gustó mucho porque está en la orilla de lo desarrollado, en una zona muy tranquila! El desayuno está incluido y es muy bueno. Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia!!!
