Stay here, could not fault my stay.
Was only for one night, but the service, quality, friendliness, breakfast, value, everything was perfect.
If you are in the area, stay here. You will not be disappointed.

My son & I had spent the day making a sword at a local forge. We were exhausted upon arrival and sadly due to poor signal in the area were unable to contact the B&B. Lorraine had stayed up late to welcome us, and the spacious, warm, comfortable room was just perfect for two tired wannabe blacksmiths. Breakfast was everything we could've wished for too. Cereals and fresh fruit galore. Cooked breakfast to follow with freshly brewed coffee, both made to order and delicious. If we're ever back in the area again we wouldn't hesitate to return. We recommended it to Oldfield Forge too as it's only around 5 miles (15 min drive) away. Everything here far exceeded the usual "B&B" expectations. So many are literally spare rooms in overly large houses offered as accommodation, with Kellog's mini boxes left on the side for breakfast and soggy bacon with droopy sausages to follow. This blew away the B&B preconception and provided a hotel-class stay.

Lovely old house. Big room and bathroom. Very clean. Very friendly and helpful owners. Recommended and booked a restaurant for us.
Breakfast was delicious.
Would definitely recommend this B&B.
I would also recommend asking for precise directions before you go as we had some difficulty finding it by the postcode.
