The lodging is average in terms of room layout, comfort, amenities. What made us return 3 times during our visit to Bhutan? The food expertly prepared by probably one of the best chefs in Bhutan and served by a manager and male waiter who are kind, considerate and caring. Would I return and stay or dine at Seven suites? Yes, absolutely. Would I recommend it to others? Yes, it should be a must for any travelers to Bhutan.

We stayed here for our first night in Bhutan and the staff was warm & welcoming as were were greeted with warm towels and ginger tea. The rooms and bathrooms were well maintained & clean. We ordered room service and the food was ok ~ it was not amazing, but it was not horrible, either. The breakfast buffet did not have as many options as I expected. The location is the best!

We stayed for two nights at the Seven Suites in Thimpu during our recent trip to Bhutan. First the positives...The hotel is new, just 7 months old and is clean and gleaming. Located cery conveniently on the main road, in the heart of the city with great river and mountain views. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed with firm mattresses, good internet, an excellent shower and lots of storage space. The hotel has central air-conditioning and the thermostat in the room worked well. Staff are very responsive and service is excellent. On our second night the staff sent a complimentary wine bottle to our room. The only negative ...We had taken a MAPI plan (breakfast and dinner) and the food was average in taste and the number of choices. We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel.
