Mare Monte Small Boutique Hotel

We recently enjoyed a 4-day stay at the Mare Monte Small Boutique Hotel in Thassos, Greece, and it was a fantastic experience! Our two families were particularly impressed with spotless cleanliness. The rooms and the entire hotel were impeccably clean, creating a refreshing and comfortable atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and charming. The hotel boasts stunning views that truly elevate your stay. Every morning, we were treated to a delicious and satisfying breakfast that perfectly fueled our day's adventures. Alex and her mother, who run the hotel, were incredibly helpful, polite, and made us feel right at home. While the location is ideal for those seeking a tranquil escape, it's important to note that it's a 20-minute drive from the city center (ferry port). Additionally, the Golden Beach area, where the hotel is situated, offers beautiful beaches and proximity to Panagia village. However, the road leading from the hotel to the beach is a bit rough, making walking less convenient. Overall, we strongly recommend the Mare Monte Small Boutique Hotel. The immaculate rooms, stunning views, delicious food, and exceptional hospitality make it a perfect choice for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Thassos. We recommend this place 100%! **Beautiful** We had a beautiful vacation in this Small Boutique Hotel, for 7 days. **Panoramic view** You have a panoramic view over the sea and mountins, directly from the balcony. **Breakfast** Breakfast was served every morning in the room, with the comodity to choose the prefered hour. Also, the breakfast is very tasty and diversified every day. **Cleaness** Cleaness, 10 out of 10. Fresh towels and room cleaned every day, even if we didn t ask for it. **Sea** The sea is at 5 minutes walk from location. **Parking and Pool** The hotel has a parking and a swimming pool where you can enjoy the water and the sun. **Guest** At last, but not the least, the guest was very friendly, super helpful with all the info we needed about the best things to do and to see on the island. Thank you for all and we are looking forward to come back again!

Warm hospitality, panoramic views, excellent breakfast in room, and a very clean suite.We didn't anything more! We stayed in the first floor in the Junior Suite which has a very good decoration. Thank you Helena for the hospitality, we will be back again!

This month we booked one week to this location- it is not a hotel at all- it is a house located on a dirty road with difficult access by car far away from beach or other locations that you may need. They said that the hotel is not child friendly although they have one room for a small family. They said that we can leave the child on the street and only 2 adults are permitted in the room. We asked if we can pay extra money for the child but it seemed that they already knew what to do because they already charged us for the entire amount. So they kept the money and we needed to find another location in the area in order to have a place to stay. They simply kicked us out without any help or discussion. Those 2 owners are just some bad people without any compassion

Dear all please READ ALL Just wanted to say avoid this location if your family its more then 2 , they might allow animals but they don't allow kids , only 1 room can accommodate one kid and that room was booked already when we arrived and they cancel the booking and they haven't refund us. A big scam and *********** haven't helped at all. We booked 7 nights a double room so the total loss was 1300 Euros and nothing can be done to get them back also they said they can only give the room just for adults only . We had to find other location where to stay and obviously we had to pay much more.
