a) I specifically did a mobile check-in for needing the room at 11 am on 29th Jun 2024. The mobile system confirmed my check-in and post that I never got any other intimation or rejection. But, to my utter shock, I was met with an absolutely unfriendly staff – her very first reaction was NOT to welcome or greet me but rather looking at me with a disbelief/question, and I said Check In, and her next-second response was sorry, only 3 pm.. Is this how you will firstly treat a guest. And I do have status, and I am coming with family b) After a brief unpleasant wait, I was told that I will be given a call. The next 45 mnts I was hanging around in that scorching sun. c) The toilet door hardly closes. Has no one ever complained about it. How could I use such a toiler with family, and with young children. This is ridiculous d) 90% of the times, when we exit and enter hour room, I constantly have to start at an unsightly ‘plunger’ that is kept right near my entrance. e) Breakfast spread was terrible. Not even bread. And practically no option for vegetarians. A highly run-down spread. f) Entire property had a strong smell about it. g) No office space or printing capability h) We were running around, back and forth, room to front office to housekeeper multiple times, to just get fresh bath towels. When I ask front desk, I almost got shooed away with ‘you should ask your housekeeper” – I have also stayed in multiple Marriott hotels, and its perfectly fine to ask Front office. And why are your staff always so unfriendly, rude and abrupt. Is this the guest relations you have in this property. Heights of insensitivity. When I ask housekeeper, she goes “I don’t have any” – come on, is this an acceptable reply. I finally got it only in the night (Sunday night). Overall, this was one of the most pathetic stays I ever had in any Marriott property
