There are walking trails and mirror marshes nearby the hotel. You can take a stroll before and after checking in. Overall, it is easy for people who do not usually exercise. It is highly recommended. Watching the sunset at dusk is perfect.

There is no elevator, so be mentally prepared to carry your luggage up to the first floor. The waiters are very helpful when you check in. There was no mention of the lack of an elevator when booking, which was a bit out of budget.

The hot springs were great.
They offer free soft drinks, but since many people come just for the day to soak in the hot springs,
I think some people might not like that.
I was able to interact with the locals, so it was a very meaningful trip, and I'm glad I did.

ロケーションは最高
あいにく雲があり、利尻富士は望めなかったが、日本海に沈む夕景は綺麗だった！建物も新しく、何より部屋に冷房が付いているのが快適だった。夕食、朝食も豪華でお酒も進み満足しました。
また、なんといってもアンモニア臭？がする黒い独特な温泉が良かったです。露天風呂は改修中だったのかもしれませんが、また機会があれば伺いたいですね。

駐車場は広く、スタッフは親切丁寧に接していただき気分良く宿泊する事ができました。食事も美味しく機会があればまた宿泊したいと思います。ただ、使用できない浴槽があった点が少し残念。

今回、オトンルイ発電所にほど近いこちらの宿に泊まりました。日本海までほど近いですが、若干の高台になっているので見晴らしがよいです。その名のとおり天気さえよければ日本海に沈む夕日が見られたのでしょうが、あいにくの曇り空でした。２３時～７時までは施錠してしまうこと、温泉は夜２３時まで、朝は６時からと細かい制約はありますが、まぁ仕方ないかと。温泉はなんだか独特のにおいがしますね。塩素のにおいではないけど、なんだろう。食事の印象は、夕食はそれほどでもありませんが、朝食の和定食があれこれ出てきて充実した印象。
