The hotel is very close to JR Station of Chuantang Hot Springs. It takes about 10 minutes to walk. The front desk service is very good and there is no problem in English communication. At the time of check-in, the hot spring tax is charged per person, 150 yen per person. Booked in a Japanese-style triple room, the room is very warm, the breakfast is good, typical Japanese cuisine, although the taste is not used, but full. The hotel's hot springs are very comfortable, there are not many pools, one indoors, one outdoor, and no other outdoor pools. If you do not consider the traffic, it is recommended to go to the Sulphur Mountain direction, the choice will be more, all the way to the hot spring inn, all natural hot springs. The hotel also provides free help to host a trip, which is very convenient.

It is an inn & restaurant built on the hill. You can spend a leisurely time in the spectacular view of Hokkaido. The food was delicious and I was very satisfied. On the second day of the night, I enjoyed barbecuing with the staff! Except for one rental room, the shower and toilet are shared, there is no bathtub, but there are two hot springs in the center of the village, which is about 5 minutes by car. This time it was 2 nights, but next time I would like to stay longer.
Reopening in 2021! Luxurious countryside experience in Kawayu.

Choose this hotel, one is a single price, friendly to the soloist, the second is that the hotel has 60 rooms, which is more suitable for me than the big hotel. Third, you can enrich the review of Trip . Before placing the order, there is one. After the vast majority of Japanese hotels have lived, the feeling is money, the value of the money, this is no exception. The connection is very convenient. From the net to the Sichuan soup hot spring, get off the bus and take the bus to the end, and you will see the word ”Ninja Winter”. The public area is better than the room. The room is very general. It is just to turn the tatami into a bed. There is no bedside table. The instructions of the toilet are actually misspelled, breaking the stereotype that the Japanese are very concerned about the details. The shrimp sashimi of the buffet is of high quality, sweet, and can be eaten for breakfast and dinner. If you are alone, like sashimi, like seafood, and have plenty of time, you can rush and you will not regret it.

We stayed with 3 families with 1st grade elementary school students. It is a Japanese-Western style room in the villa Ninto. As soon as I arrived at the entrance and opened the car door, I was surprised at the strong sulfur smell. A hot spring river flows right next to it, and expectations are swelling from the time of arrival. When you jump into the actual hot spring, you are surprised at the rich hot water. Although the large communal bath and open-air bath are relatively small, the goodness of the hot water was outstanding. The room is large enough for families. And the food was delicious anyway. Supper and breakfast were buffets, but there were so many delicious dishes that I couldn't eat in one night. I wanted to eat color 々 for many nights. And the customer service of the staff 々 was very warm and comfortable. Especially for children, it was a good memory for the woman who was working on the horns of the deer in the back of the shop.
A long-established onsen (hot spring). Guests can enjoy relaxing in a warm open-air bath by the river, and the smell of the trees from baths made of cypress wood. Local dishes made from fresh seasonal ingredients are on the menu. This is the perfect spot for those looking to spend some time in a calm environment surrounded by wonderful nature.

Unforgettable hot springs in Hokkaido♨️
In addition to the 100% pure natural hot spring (hydrogen sulfate hydroxide spring), Yujuku Yumaki, the winning hot spring hotel in Yorogyu, is a top-notch hot spring hotel. The details of the rooms and the one-stop, two-food catering can be seen in its thoughtfulness. As soon as we arrived at the parking lot, a dedicated person came to greet us, help us drag our luggage, and carefully wipe the luggage wheels. We are very clean. There were our exclusive names on the shoe cabinets. After a quick glance, there were only two people who were not Japanese. This shows that Japanese people love this secret soup very much. As soon as you enter, you are led to the sofa area. There is also a free milk coffee drink area next to it, allowing travelers to enjoy it while checking in. It can be said that you are treated with courtesy from the moment you enter. Women who are particularly fond of yukata can also freely choose the yukata pattern and color they like!
The hot springs at Yujuku Miyako are elegantly built beside a stream. The stream and the hot springs are separated by a stone wall, and are lined with green maple trees by the river. You can soak in the hot springs while watching the rapids of the stream, which is as pleasant as you can say. Cozy, this is a real hot spring by the stream! There is also a traditional mixed-gender soup here. The highlight of the evening is of course to see the owls by the stream. One stay, two meals is a great value for money, and it’s a great hot spring hotel!

This is a Kyoritsu Resort hotel along the Akan River. From the beautiful lobby lounge, you can see the fresh green mountain stream of the Akan River, and you have already gotten excited while drinking coffee in the lounge. There were chairs where you could see the greenery from each corridor, and when I sat and looked at it, there was a deer. The room was on the mountain (forest) side, but this side is in front of the bicycle parking lot. It was a modern and nice room in twin bed room, living area. All rooms have a bath (view bath) with a view of the outside, but I didn't use it because the parking lot was in front of me. I used the relationship. In front of the large communal bath is a mountain stream of the Akan River, and deer have been eating grass all the time near the open-air bath. It was the first time I encountered a deer in the open-air bath. There are bear-avoiding bells down from the top in two open-air baths, which may also be a deer shelter. There are 3 private baths, and you can use them at any time if they are available (only enter, no shampoo, etc.). Supper was served at a large counter seat along the mountain stream. On YouTube, it was introduced as a seat where you can see deer, but deer did not appear. As for the content of the dinner, there were many items to choose from, it was unique, and the breakfast was good. The hotel had a concept, and the hot springs, meals, rooms and hospitality were satisfactory. It is a hotel that I want to visit again in different seasons.

We used the Japanese style room on the lake side. The room was not new, but there was a wide cleanliness. Above all, the view of Lake Akan from the room is great!!! This alone is worth coming to Akan. The hot spring bathtub is two hot and warm types, but it was a luxurious and slick hot spring with a source hanging. Both meals and free drinks in the morning and evening buffet. The variety of dishes is also good, and fresh vegetables and sweets are delicious in the tempura of the spring mountain vegetables, etc.♡ The correspondence of the hotel 々 is also sincere, and the hand is shaken until the hotel is not seen at the time of return It was really 2 nights 3 days of great satisfaction. I would like to stay here when I come to Akan again.

We spent two nights at this property earlier this month, as Akanko (i.e. Lake Akan) has a variety of things to do and we wanted to make the most of our time there. The Lake Akan area of Eastern Hokkaido is blessed with some of the country's most incredible natural environments including old-growth forests, a pristine lake, scenic mountains, mud volcanoes and the Marimo, a unique and unusual freshwater green algae that is shaped like a green ball and which can grow to about the size of a volleyball. There is also a cultural element to the area, as Ainu Kotan is one of Hokkaido's largest Ainu (indigenous people) settlements with roughly 130 individuals calling the place home. Aino Kotan has a main ***** that has a variety of stores selling Ainu handicrafts as well as restaurants serving traditional Ainu cuisine. There is also a museum and a performing arts center, giving visitors the opportunity to enjoy a variety of Ainu performing arts. You can also reserve a private guided tour with an Ainu descendent who you will follow through a pretty forest while he/she explains how the Ainu used to live. Akan Tsuruga Besso Hinanoza (that's its full name) is a luxury ryokan established in 2004 by the Tsuruga Group, and is just steps away from the lake shore. It's ideally situated - almost everything we wanted to experience (Ainu Village, Lake cruise, hiking, shopping) is within short walking distance from the ryokan. That said, the entire town is clustered in a small area along the South shore of the lake, so wherever you stay, it's going to be convenient. The property is in a nondescript 7-story building, although it's in pretty good shape from the outside (which is not the case with many older ryokans of this type.) Inside, in the common areas there are a variety of wood carvings that are on display; the indigenous Ainu are renowned for their woodworking skills, the displays are a wonderful tribute to the local Ainu artisans. Of the 25 rooms at Hinanoza, 4 of them are Tokubetsu-****su (”Special”) units that are 110m² in size, and are denoted as Ama no Za Suite. Our Tokubetsu-****su was on the 6th floor (the highest floor among guest rooms), and was named the Hina no Za (#601.) As is the case with most suites at top ryokans, it featured a living room, a tatami room and a separate bedroom. The decor and furnishings were Japanese-contemporary and of high quality - the hard product was fantastic overall. The Onsen bath is located on the deck, and is free-flowing and not recirculated... perfect. As was the case with Sanyoan, our Special room had two toilets in different areas of the Suite, although - curiously - featured only one sink. Mrs. KI-NRT would take that trade-off any day of the week. Hinanoza does have the obligatory Daiyokujo (gender-segregated communal Onsen bath), but given that every room here has en-suite Onsen, the vast majority of guests will never leave the comforts of their room. It was empty every time we took a peak in the Daiyokujo. All
With a stay at New Akan Hotel in Kushiro, you'll be on a lake, just a 5-minute walk from Akankohan Eco Museum Center and 6 minutes by foot from Lake Akan. This hotel is 0.5 mi (0.8 km) from Ainu Kotan and 0.7 mi (1.1 km) from Akanko Ainu Theater Ikoro.
Be sure to enjoy recreational amenities including hot springs and a sauna. Additional features at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access and an arcade/game room.
Satisfy your appetite at Felice, one of the hotel's 2 restaurants. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily.
Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. A train station drop-off service is provided at no charge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 370 air-conditioned rooms featuring refrigerators and flat-screen televisions. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available to keep you connected. I booked a room at this hotel through Bookings.com, where rooms at their so-called 'Crystal Wing' were the only ones offered. The room cost me 28,000 yen a night but I decided to fork out the exorbitant price for a nice resort by the lake. However, as it turned out, the 'Crystal Wing' is actually an annex. It is originally a different hotel called the Crystal Hotel, which was acquired by the Hotel New Akan next door. The lobby and restaurant of this 'annex' were closed, so we assumed that only the rooms were used to accommodate guests. I don't have problems with annex rooms in other hotels, but for this one, I do. The Crystal Wing is so shabby and run down. The hallways are musty and smelly. It has its own small elevator with buttons so dirty that you don't want to put your finger on. The room looks like it does in the website picture. It looks clean. What is unseen though is the stale musty air! It was so awful to be breathing in the room. The windows cannot be opened, so you are forced to inhale the stale air from the old central AC. It’s really ironic because the fresh mountain air is just outside. What's worse is that the room smells of cigarettes even when it is supposed to be a non-smoking room. Also, the door does not close properly and has to be slammed to shut. The bed is reasonably comfortable, but the sheets do not have the scent of freshly laundered linen, and neither were the yukatas. This gives the impression that the room has not been used in a long time. The yukatas are so worn out, I did not feel like putting them on. The toilet, though very clean, faintly smelt of the sewer. We never saw any other guests on the same floor as us in the annex building. When we looked at the building from the outside during an evening stroll, our room was the only one lighted up. Coupled with the dark, uninhabited lower floors and the sealed-off lobby of this 'Crystal Wing', we felt like we booked a room at a ghost hotel! I complained to the hotel, but all they offered was a different room in the SAME annex building. I wrote a negative review on Bookings thinking it would help other unknowing guests. However, only positive reviews are being featured on the site. Bookings is still selling these Crystal Wing rooms on their website! (No rooms in the main building are available, so this misleads guests to think that the Crystal rooms are NOT the shabbier, older rooms in a different building) Selling these old run-down rooms in the dilapidated building next door for exorbitant prices is simply unscrupulous. Avoid these Crystal rooms at all costs if you want a good night sleep and no creepy, eerie feelings as a holiday memory!

韦韦Kawayu Hot Spring is an unforgettable town, and the autumn scenery changes every day. It is recommended to go to the Natural History Museum. It is free. It is only a few minutes' walk away from the Sumo Memorial. The room in this hotel is very clean. The hot spring is on the first floor. It is very old and feels very bad. It is a bit like a bathhouse more than 20 years ago. Stay for two nights without meals for 500 one night.

BBayjbStayed one night at the hostel while passing through town. It's located on a farm, good location to the national park and quiet because it's set so far back from the road. Overall, for one night it was fine. Dorms are good size but even in fall, the room is very hot and stuffy. There is a fan but no other ventilation. Was nice to have a sink in the room to get ready at night. Showers and baths on the main floor are a bit dated but fine overall. A family lives at the hostel and they are nice but not super friendly, and it felt like I was intruding on someone's home. Sound carries VERY well in the building too so if you have noisy people (like I did), you hear everything late at night. Breakfast was good and plentiful, traditional Japanese cuisine. The dinner gets raved about a lot because it's homemade and multi-courses. I thought it was fine, nice change of pace and nice to have a home cooked meal, but I think it's overpriced. That said, there is literally nothing around the hostel so it is a convenience. You cannot cook your own food, any food you bring in, they will store until you leave. Checkout is at 9am, which is ridiculous given the cost of the hostel. Breakfast is from 7:30 - 8:30am but you gotta go at the beginning to get the best pickings. Given the location, it was a fine choice but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay again. While it's a youth hostel and the family aspect would normally be nice, it felt like you were crashing a someone's home and they didn't care if you were there or not. Credit cards accepted and one of the women speaks very good English.
GGuest UserIt has probably been more than 5 years to stay at Kawayu Onsen. This time, I stayed at Kawayu Tourist Hotel for 2 nights. It is the first use. There is also a sauna on the net, so book. When I checked in, the sauna was suspended because it was a corona ridge. No description on the net. It was done. The room is a Japanese room. Very old. Tatami mats are waves and holes on the wall. The sauna was disappointing, but the hot springs were good. The open-air bath is pleasant. Dinner is a half private room and thank you for this time. The content was not bad. Breakfast is a Viking form. This was also a time of this time, there were few guests and the content was not bad. Thank you for free Wi-Fi because it was used at work. The room is old, but it is a washlet, and there is ice water in the pot. The building is only yukata. No dryer in the room. TV cannot be seen by BS. It was used at work, but it is not private.
