Room was spacious and clean. We weren’t however impressed with the check in “surprise” comments on bringing my 3 year old, while the booking clearly stated we had booked for 2 adults and a child. Place was marketed suitable for families but we did not feel welcomed as such, and as foreigners
That being said the room itself was good, noise from the very busy street right by the windows was extremely noisy with the pass g trucks through the night.

Large, clean rooms with everything you need. Rooms are quiet even though it's close to the main road. Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent comfortable and clean motel in great location handy to central town. Very spacious with super comfy bed. Friendly and helpful host who put the heater on for us to come back to a warm room in the evening. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent motel to stay at and good handy location. Very warm and comfortable and very very clean. Richard the owner was so welcoming and thoughtful turning the heaters and lights on for when we arrived home after a long day away. We enjoyed it so much booked an extra night and another booking 2025. Would recommend these motels to anyone wanting a great place to stay 😊

We were looking for a place in Timaru and all were sold out so stayed at the Phoenix in Temuka instead. Clean and tidy. Good value for money. Easy to find. Comfortable bed. Had a kitchen as well. Not sure we could have asked for more! We’d stay here again.
