Quality Inn Temecula Valley Wine Country

This hotel is good value for the money, certainly better than the nearly $300 Pechanga wanted on a Friday night! Staff is friendly and very helpful We even received a ”welcome” phone call! They had a disability room with a roll in shower and TWO beds-- almost unheard of! As a result the ability to maneuver a wheelchair is a bit tight but not impossible. They had noted our request for a shower chair on a prior occasion and brought one up without our asking. The fridge was plugged in and ready to go-- not always the case. A couple of small negatives: breakfast was very limited-- should be referred to as a ”light continental breakfast”. Only protein was yogurt. There was only one USB port so bring a USB to wall plug cord. You cannot leave the light on in the bathroom and the door cracked to serve as a nightlight because the fan is connected and anyway, the light will turn off. Lastly, the parking situation is not good, with very few disability spaces and few spaces overall. If you come back at night, you will be parking some distance away and I never saw a guard for the complex. Overall, this motel had a level of service missing from some much more expensive motels-- at a third pf the price.

Rodeway Inn Old Town Temecula

Non-smoking room smelt like cigarettes. Room was disgustingly dirty! Bathroom was gross head cigarette stains on the ceiling walls from when the shower he did everything up. The room smell extremely bad!! There is so much outside activity going on homeless people drug dealers walking around. A few of the guys that were walking around outside kept trying to talk to my children saying hi waving at them winking at them telling them to come over to the vending machines. Had homeless people with all their blankets laying in there! Cigarette butts all outside. It says no animals allowed it smelt like urine outside the rooms and inside the rooms! Rooms need to be definitely updated . Bed sheets were extremely dirty had hair in their dirty feet Marks . The beds are so hard. I don’t even think our room was cleaned the beds were just made there was stuff on the floor from the previous person that stayed there All night long I heard dogs barking in the other room. You always heard people walking by your door touching your door handle talking. It was just an overall extremely bad place we felt unsafe I didn’t even sleep because I felt like I had to stay up and watch my family. Nasty nasty place

This hotel was a fun experience. I got to meet lots of new puppies ,great staff, and got to experience all Temecula has to offer. I had the ability to connect with multiple business partners at this hotel and had ample space to work in my room when needed. I was able to get sleep every night as the rooms seemed to be pretty sound proof . They have a decent size parking lot so I didn't have to worry about Parking which as we all know is a must . I could always see my car from my room. They offered everything I needed to prepare my meals daily in the kitchen in my room.
Holiday Inn Express Temecula

I love Holiday Inn Express and have stayed in them all over the world, so it pains me to write this negative review. This hotel is old and looks it. It needs a total makeover, including a new front entrance, which faces the hot, setting sun. As a result, the front doors become unwelcoming slabs of black glass. The owners desperately need to refresh this property. Our room, No. 328, smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke. We complained and were shown another room down the hall, which also smelled. We stayed where we were but ran the AC all the time to filter the air a little. I mentioned this to the manager, Kathy, as I was leaving and she said that people do smoke in the rooms, despite it being a non-smoking hotel. The sheets on our bed were worn paper-thin by many, many washings and there was a faded stain on my side the first night. The room was dark and the furniture was dated. But the room was clean. The breakfast was typical American HIE fare and was fine. Note to the owners: please invest some money in this hotel and bring it up to HIE standards.
