This was my second time visiting Angono for Higantes. The year before I stayed at a hotel in Taytay because I didn't know about this little resort/bed & breakfast. Got a great deal on the two night stay but was a little worried due to some of the reviews I've read. I'll admit, there was often a lot of people playing music or doing karaaoke by the pool and my bathroom/shower room was separate from the bedroom but it was a private bathroom. I can only assume that the complaints about bad service are related to people who no longer work at VJR because everyone I came into contact with was helpful and friendly. All in all, especially considering the price I was very happy. The room was very large, clean and comfy with a very big and very soft bed. If you visit Angono for Higantes or any time of year to soak up the food and culture of the art capital of the Philippines Villa Jhoana is an ideal place to make your homebase!

It's a vast space, with several pools and rooms/ private villas. It's a great place to spend a weekend with family, strolling among the trees, enjoying a leisurely swim, taking in the realistic and textured paintings in the restaurant, and partaking of other activities like horseback riding and more. The staff are the absolute friendliest, most accommodating and efficient ones I have ever encountered in my life. Well trained and wired to serve, going way beyond what is required (special shout out to Ruiz/ Fruity and Amy, definitely role models for the service and hospitality industry). I highly recommend this place for team building or family vacations... or even a personal getaway.

I was looking for a cheap hotel near Taytay and found this hotel to be clean and cheap, so I stayed here for one night. As soon as I entered the room, I realized that this hotel is what they call a love hotel in Japan. There was a parking space in front of the room, the room had neon lights and a swing. I invited a friend over to stay the night, but he couldn't sleep at night and we had to check out at 4am. In short, if I'm going to stay the night at a love hotel, I want to just take a break and go home early. The Philippines' construction technology is low, so the facilities feel a bit old, but the Filipino staff are enthusiastic and will respond immediately even if you call them at 2am, and the security is also reassuring. Spa was mediocre. They need to improve on customer experience. Massage room too cold and no way to adjust temperature. No heated bed. Had to ask for more towels to keep me warm. Didn’t smell like a spa. Little musty. Therapist was good though. The rooms are well appointed and very spacious. Complete with kitchen in a 2BR Suite. Bathtub too high for short people and may cause accidents. There’s a washer dryer combo that technically only washed clothes and kept clothes damp. The dryer was not efficient and we checked out with still damp clothes. 3 associates came to the room and tried to solve the problem. Their suggestion was to wash the clothes again so it will trigger the dry cycle. Never worked. Waste of time and energy. Dryer should dry clothes. Period. Breakfast selection was good. Saw a little cockroach walk around the sushi area. 😲 The area can get so much traffic. Kalayaan Ave can get crazy busy. Give enough time and clear directions for your Grab diver if you want to make your appointments on time. OVERALL GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY!

We had a pleasant 2-night stay at Novotel (room only, no breakfast). Service was excellent (they provided a cake for us to celebrate our anniversary, and we asked for late check out which they kindly accepted), The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Good wifi connection if you need to work. The location is great with lots of cafes, restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The gym is open 24/7 (attended 6am-11pm) and there is a steam room but we didn’t use it. The gelato on 1F was pretty good! Couple of areas for improvement: - the walls were thin so we could hear people next door talking, or the shower adjacent to ours - our rainfall shower did not work and there is no shower door so the floor got a bit wet - there are not many amenities available - only body wash, shampoo, hand wash, body lotion, toothbrushes

I stayed at Ibis Styles Araneta so I can get peace and quiet while I finished my book and that was what I got. Although not the typical desk and chair set-up, it really worked for the work I needed to do. The rooms may be on the small size but there was enough natural light that flooded the room and kept me energized during my entire stay. I had a really great time from start to finish. Once I arrived at the driveway, I was already assisted by their staff. Check-in was fast and the front desk staff (Sam) even helped me get my luggage to my room. The room was very cozy, clean, and chill. One of the downsides would have to be the closet since it was just a rod on top of the coffee station and the clothes drop down on the coffee cups. Another downside are the roll-down blinds. If you don't want to be seen outside, you'd have to roll down all the blinds and prevent any sunlight flooding the room. Not a big problem though. Really enjoyed Le Bistro and the Edge Skyview Bar. Very cozy places to just relax. I also love the panoramic views by the rooftop bar. I would really have appreciated it if the buffet and Le Bistro had several vegan food choices. It's a good thing Gateway Mall is right beside the hotel so I was able to eat my meals. I love that they have a water dispenser and provided a water pitcher in the room to make it easier for water refill. The lobby is also a great place to hangout and work in at times. Over all, I'd stay here again.

Very excellent experience! Our room was also upgraded. Special mention to ms. Melody for assisting us in our request and going on extra mile by sending us cake and fruits for our anniversary. To CJay and Chris for accommodating us and assisting us since it is our first time in Hyatt. And to Matt who was very hospitable and very accommodating lifeguard on duty at Nobu, when we stayed on the pool side in the afternoon. Will definitely stay again at COD in the future!

The managers at the Ridge Cafe deserve special mention for their professionalism, unwavering hospitality, and infectious jolliness. They ensured that every meal was served with care and attention to detail. They effortlessly managed the bustling café, yet never failed to accommodate our specific requests and dietary preferences. Their dedication to providing excellent service was evident in every interaction, leaving a lasting positive impression on us. Moreover, the staff at the pool area reflected the same level of commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction. They were always available to assist with our needs and consistently made us feel comfortable. Whether it was providing extra towels, adjusting the poolside umbrellas, or delivering refreshing beverages, they attended to every request promptly and with a genuine smile.

We had a delightful stay at the Grand Westside Hotel, perfect for our relaxing weekend escape. Despite the hotel being newly opened and still undergoing some construction, the facilities and room were both adequate and comfortable. A special highlight was the breakfast, featuring an extensive and satisfying menu. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Kim, for helping us book our room. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

The room was cozy and clean. Very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. They also gave us complimentary cake and greeting for my bday celebration. The check in/out was fast. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We will surely come back. I highly recommend this hotel.
