This was my second time visiting Angono for Higantes. The year before I stayed at a hotel in Taytay because I didn't know about this little resort/bed & breakfast. Got a great deal on the two night stay but was a little worried due to some of the reviews I've read. I'll admit, there was often a lot of people playing music or doing karaaoke by the pool and my bathroom/shower room was separate from the bedroom but it was a private bathroom. I can only assume that the complaints about bad service are related to people who no longer work at VJR because everyone I came into contact with was helpful and friendly. All in all, especially considering the price I was very happy. The room was very large, clean and comfy with a very big and very soft bed. If you visit Angono for Higantes or any time of year to soak up the food and culture of the art capital of the Philippines Villa Jhoana is an ideal place to make your homebase!

I was looking for a cheap hotel near Taytay and found this hotel to be clean and cheap, so I stayed here for one night. As soon as I entered the room, I realized that this hotel is what they call a love hotel in Japan. There was a parking space in front of the room, the room had neon lights and a swing. I invited a friend over to stay the night, but he couldn't sleep at night and we had to check out at 4am. In short, if I'm going to stay the night at a love hotel, I want to just take a break and go home early. The Philippines' construction technology is low, so the facilities feel a bit old, but the Filipino staff are enthusiastic and will respond immediately even if you call them at 2am, and the security is also reassuring. During our spa session, we were fortunate to have Ms. Ella as our masseuse. Not only did she provide a truly relaxing massage, but she also engaged us in delightful conversations, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. Her genuine passion for her work and attentive service made the experience even more enjoyable and personalized. The managers at the Ridge Cafe deserve special mention for their professionalism, unwavering hospitality, and infectious jolliness. They ensured that every meal was served with care and attention to detail. They effortlessly managed the bustling café, yet never failed to accommodate our specific requests and dietary preferences. Their dedication to providing excellent service was evident in every interaction, leaving a lasting positive impression on us. Moreover, the staff at the pool area reflected the same level of commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction. They were always available to assist with our needs and consistently made us feel comfortable. Whether it was providing extra towels, adjusting the poolside umbrellas, or delivering refreshing beverages, they attended to every request promptly and with a genuine smile.

Fast wifi. Nice street view from room. The room I booked costs least so no balcony to sit, just a balcony for aircon compressor. I love the washing machine as I have a few T-shirts to wash. Detergent can be bought in savemore supermarket right under the condo. Room has the living room and kitchen but I didn’t cook. Nice area to stay. Need to register and have our photos taken with the Admin at Lobby before we went up our room which is on 19th floor. 2-3 days before arrival, we sent them photos of our passports and got an authorization letter to stay. When we arrived, they said we still needed to register. Waited quite long as their computer had a problem and they restarted and there were more than 10 guests that time. Pool on 8th floor and you need to pay 150 Peso per person to use. Very fast response each time I email the Host. Over we enjoyed our stay.

Don’t expect perfection but for the price I paid and for the service received during my overnight stay, I’m rating this 5 for going beyond my expectations for this first time booking. 2 days before my stay, Savoy Hotel sent me an email reminder. It also says, “Please do not hesitate to let us know if we can be of assistance in making any special preparations prior to your arrival.” and so I give it a shot and replied with a request. Thank you to Housekeeping Team Leader Remuel Tayao for that creative presentation. Most of the staff I’ve encountered with are courteous and welcoming except for the tall front desk lady during my check-in. Btw, I hope you install a pin light by the room coffee/tea area and closet. Very excellent experience! Our room was also upgraded. Special mention to ms. Melody for assisting us in our request and going on extra mile by sending us cake and fruits for our anniversary. To CJay and Chris for accommodating us and assisting us since it is our first time in Hyatt. And to Matt who was very hospitable and very accommodating lifeguard on duty at Nobu, when we stayed on the pool side in the afternoon. Will definitely stay again at COD in the future!

We had a delightful stay at the Grand Westside Hotel, perfect for our relaxing weekend escape. Despite the hotel being newly opened and still undergoing some construction, the facilities and room were both adequate and comfortable. A special highlight was the breakfast, featuring an extensive and satisfying menu. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Kim, for helping us book our room. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

The room was cozy and clean. Very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. They also gave us complimentary cake and greeting for my bday celebration. The check in/out was fast. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We will surely come back. I highly recommend this hotel.
