The food was delicious and the surrounding facilities were excellent. I was especially pleased to be able to see the beautiful sunset at the nearby Sunset Hill.

This hotel is designed for families with small children (up to elementary school age) and offers buffet meals. The food was okay, including all-you-can-eat crab legs, but there were few dessert options, which was disappointing. It was also disappointing that the curry and other foods that children eat are spicy. It would be better if they separated the mild and adult versions, or provided spices so adults can make it spicy. The all-you-can-drink option, including alcohol, is a good point, but it's not for people who want good food to taste good. As many people have written, the rooms don't have air conditioning, so it can be a bit tough in the recent heat. Overall, the staff were nice, and although it felt surprisingly expensive, it was an okay experience.

The curriculum and equipment are well thought out, but there are too few instructors for the number of participants, and the operation during busy times is poor. I took a one-day course, and in the morning there was one instructor and one support staff for every 15 children, and the waiting time was, no joke, more than 80% of the time. There was less than 10 minutes of actual practice time per child. There was no self-study, so we just sat and waited. Naturally, the children were bored. It is unthinkable that they would charge more than 10,000 yen for this.

We stayed here for a ski trip over the New Year holidays. Our family of four stayed in a Japanese-style room. The building itself felt old, and the toilet and washroom facilities in the room were old, but the toilet was a shower toilet and we used the large public bath, so it wasn't particularly inconvenient. The tatami mats in the room were new, and the hotel corridors were probably newly re-covered with cushioned flooring, so it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were buffets. It wasn't particularly luxurious, but it was delicious, and the staff were kind and comfortable. The slopes were right in front of us, so we could eat with family members who weren't skiing on the slopes, or easily return to the hotel for a break, so it was comfortable.

We planned our first ski trip as a family, so we chose this hotel because it was close to the slopes. It was really close to the slopes, and it was easy to get around. The facilities were a rather old building, but the inside was nicely arranged, and we were able to choose our pillows (first come, first served) and shampoos, which was fun. The food was a buffet, but it was surprisingly delicious and we ended up eating a lot. There was also an all-you-can-drink local alcohol option, so we tried a variety of different drinks. We had a great time over two days.

I used the [Forest] room with my family (father, mother, age 6, age 4, age 1 and a half) during the July holidays. I was worried that I might have made a mistake in choosing a hotel after reading reviews before staying (no cooler, dining venue, meal content, etc.). How far from the parking lot? long? I felt it, but it's okay. There was no air conditioner in the room, but it was comfortable. There is also a fan so you can circulate the air. The window is also a screen door, so you can open it and ventilate. The toilet, bath, and washbasin in the room look like an old ryokan, but I was able to use it without any problems. A style where the venue of the buffet takes a meal and goes up the stairs to the seat. My child has spilled and dropped it many times. After taking a bath, it is dangerous to step on the hem of the yukata on the stairs. For both adults and children, samue and jinbei are better than yukata. There is no tableware for children, and there are only glasses for cups, so it is difficult to hold, and it is dangerous to use it because it is likely to be dropped. It would be nice if there were plastic cups, plates, spoons and forks. Having baby food was helpful. The food was ordinary and there was nothing that wasn't delicious. The serving ladles, tongs, and ice spoons were dirty and didn't look good. It was dangerous for children to touch the outlet of the fan in the dressing room of the public bath. Having a baby bed was nice. I wanted to put a shoe box in the public bath to put the slippers in, but it was supposed to be clipped, but after all, people came in one after another and they were undressed, so it was hard to find. If you want to stay again, Shirakaba Resort is better, but I stayed at Kogen Hotel and it wasn't bad. In addition, if there is opportunity, may we stay?

I had booked a stay at the end of March with a lift ticket and ski rental set plan. Shortly before our stay, there was less snow at the ski resort and only a limited number of lifts were in operation, so the lift fee was waived. I had already booked a ski plan, so I gave up, but the hotel changed me to a regular plan, and I was able to stay there without having to make a request and just pay for the accommodation. We are grateful for the thoughtfulness of the hotel staff! There was also a shuttle bus from the station, which was very convenient.
