My experience was pleasant throughout my stay. The location of the hotel is great, right on Town Hall Square. The room was relatively clean with new amenities, although there wasn't a king size bed and we had to put two beds together. Breakfast is worth mentioning, with pancake, which I really liked, and very good yoghurt. It would have been a near perfect experience, but something incredible happened when I checked out. I missed a handbag in the room because of the large amount of luggage. I returned to the hotel two hours later to enquire and was told that "nothing other than RUBBISH was left in the room", which I was shocked to hear, as the bag contained at least one whole cigarette (which my friend had commissioned me to buy from a Chinese duty free shop), a whole box of Chinese tea, a bag of expensive Chinese hot pot base, some chocolates and other items! . I didn't call the police for time reasons, but I chose to publicise this fact here, which I think is a shame for any hotel.

Lydia always meets our highest expectations. Rooms are large and clean, staff friendly and helpful, amnenities logically placed and easy to find, breakfast and coffee among the best we've tried anywhere. The restaurant Hõlm at the hotel is also one of the best dining experiences we've had.

The attraction of the hotel is its super good breakfast and location. One of the best hotels, located in a great location right in the center, the service is friendly and the breakfast is super good. The only minus is the carpets, whose cleanliness is not necessarily the best level.

Cozy hotel with a great mini spa. Few minuses: I prepaid my stay with a voucher but this info was not familiar to administrators at first so we had to discuss this once more. Asked for two champagne glasses and we were said that we can take these ourselves from coffee corner in lobby. Also no toiletries in room and when asked for a bucket with ice for a champagne, only 1/4 was filled. Beds and pillows were comfortable and had a good sleep. It was my first time using Hotelbuddy check-in, great way to save time.

Very nice rooms, clean and modern. Spa area is small but excellent! Breakfast rich. Self check in-wonderul. Didn't have to stay on line. Complimentary water in the room and free hot beverage waiting on the lounge area. Location is also very convenient!

An incredible feeling of luxury and coziness! Everything was great, lots of little things made my stay perfect! Beautiful spa, coffee corner in the lobby, good gin in the fridge! The location is also perfect. I will definitely try to come back ASAP!

I had a wonderful stay in this exceptionally clean, safe and relaxing hotel. Breakfast was lovely and all staff were friendly and professional. The location was great; within walking distance of everything. The rooms were very comfortable and the spa was an added extra. I highly recommend this hotel to all forms of travellers.

The room was great and so was the service. The breakfast offered a wide choice of food. I was not able to try the spa due to work commitments, but I believe it would have been a great experience. I would definitely recommend Hotel Lydia when visiting Tartu.
