Fast becoming my favourite place! After staying here with my husband, teenage son and dog in the summer I came back with my mum and sister for afternoon tea. I was so pleased they got to see the service, atmosphere, and quality was as amazing as I’d described. Thank you for making to a special Christmas outing.

We are semi regular guests at Cliveden and we always enjoy Sunday Lunch in the main Dining Room. Yesterday was no exception, the food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. It was our wedding Anniversary so they really helped to make it a special day. Duarte forgive us if we have misspelt his name, welcomed us and made sure of having our favourite table by the window. The rest of the staff really made sure we were enjoying our visit. The food is 5 star as is the ambiance making for a great lunch.

Lovely festive afternoon tea with family Staff all very friendly and helpful, but also gave us time to enjoy the surroundings and time with family. Lovely grounds and festively decorated. Good selection of sandwiches, savoury snacks, scones and cakes

Cliveden House was the most beautiful and luxurious hotel I have ever stayed in. From the amazing service, beautiful property and grounds, excellent food, and fine bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us in the room to begin celebrating our anniversary, everything was top notch. We had a wonderful visit.

Amazing property and friendly staff. Ate in the Astor grill which was good but service and menu could be improved. Some items with meat/fish in their description listed as vegetarian, which other seemingly vegetarian items like a beetroot ravioli not marked as vegetarian and the waiting staff were equally confused about it.
VIP amenity of a bottle of very nice English Sparkling Wine was lovely. No Gold member room upgrade mentioned, if not possible would be good to let the guest know, although there was room availability that evening on the website.

We visited the estate as a family (5 adults + 2 children) as a day out. We were very impressed with the grounds and gardens. We enjoyed a light snack in the orangery although the waiting time was a little lengthy. There was time to get lost (and found) in the maze! The overall experience was very positive and everyone enjoyed the day.

This is a beautiful historic property worth the visit but the staff were lackluster, at the very best. The lobby/lounge area missed an attention to detail that I have come to expect from a Relias property. The dining experience lacked imagination and flavor. Again, the wait staff attention to detail was not on point at a property that clearly prides itself on condescension. We stopped at the Royal Standard, a pub en route, that I would go to again and again before ever considering a repeat visit to Clivedon.
