Clean, neat, comfortable, cosy rooms. The only reason I am giving a 4 and not a 5 is because they don't provide toothpaste and I had to go out and buy toothpaste for myself. They provide everything else: clean towels, shower gel but not toothpaste.

Friendly check in, lovely old established building, car park next door...lovely cosy room which had an amazing shower, comfy bed & quiet....have already booked for next year...highly recommend plus very close to the town centre...had the best nights sleep! Xx

10 of us (friends) from our local running club stayed here Friday and Saturday last week to visit the local parkrun. We stayed here for the price it was very reasonable and in the town centre. Check in was easy enough after a short walk from the Carpark. The rooms were simple with tea coffee making facilities, comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. We stayed 2 nights and slept ok, we were worried about the nightclub but never heard a thing and that’s speaking for the whole group of us. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. If we was in Tamworth again we would definitely stay here again.

Decent Room for the night as I stayed here for work and the room was basic but had the amenities required, the bathroom was modern with an excellent shower. Clean and warm, breakfast was an extra charge but was filling, probably would stay again but just the night.

Visited for a pint of Bass but unfortunately they had none. Ales of the week was Doom Bar unfortunately it wasn’t on a real pulled pump and was charging £4 so I never tried that Ended up with a pint of Wainwrights @ £4. Will visit again but I won’t rush there.

Excellent inn appears to have been built 1901 but has been well maintained. The room was very clean. The location is superb as it is on the edge of the town centre. Overnight parking was available right next to the hotel. Breakfast was good with superb bacon. There was a band playing Friday night and we could hear the nightclub Saturday night which was fine as we went out for the evening.s

brilliant stay, hotel so so clean and lovely cooked breakfast in morning, i dont get why any bad reviews are here you cant fault the place. staff very friendly and so welcoming first time in tamworth, hotel is great to go out, as all the pubs are on same street bar is lovely downstairs and spotless

Great place to stay the room was comfortable well decorated modern and spotlessly clean. For the price paid it is fantastic value. Breakfast is superb freshly cooked served on a hot plate which most hotels fail to do. Freshly made tea and toast it set me up for the day. The staff are friendly and welcoming. You won't go wrong staying here in the centre of town a five minute walk from the railway station. I am a regular visitor to Tamworth and The Globe will be resting place for the night.
