Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tampa near Ybor City

Wow!!! This is supposed to be a Wyndham property!!! And it was be no means a qualified property!! Maybe at some point it was. But they have not maintained the property!!! The 1st room of 3 rooms I booked. Had a Crack in the ceiling from one end of the room to the other!! And the ceiling was falling!! There was plaster on the bed and floor!!! 2nd room seemed to be OK. 3rd room. The door was really hard to shut and lock!!! The 4th room which was a replacement room. Had a Crack in the wall froom ceiling to floor and covered in plaster. See photo!!! And there where roaches!! They where fast I tried to get a photo no luck!!! I also booked because it said they offered breakfast with the room!! So I go out to get breakfast! Nothing!! Of course!!! Also the night clerk is not a very nice person!!! Terrible customer service!!! Not up to the standards of a Wyndham property!!!

It was a horrible experience. The room wasn’t clean, the floor was dusty and sticky, the bathroom tub, curtain, the toilet seat, and the floor was dirty. On top of that, the bathroom door was broken. That was the worst experience that I have ever had in a hotel.

Dirty sheets, dirty towels, roaches inside, included breakfast is really bad (even ran out of coffee)

It was just a bad experience overall. At the reception area, there was a man with no relationship skills. I reserved a studio room that offers a king bed and a sofa bed, so two of us can sleep comfortably in the king bed and the other person in the sofa bed is available in the room. The sofa bed had no mattress, and they said that there was no mattress needed. They did nothing to change our reservation and make our hotel stay more comfortable. One of us slept must sleep on a filthy sofa. There was no cleaning service during our stay and even a big cockroach appeared in our room. We must kill it with a sandal shoe. When preparing to leave, I asked the lady at the front desk to make an adjustment for all the inconveniences, specifically for the issue with the sofa bed, and she declined to do it. The only pro was the location, because it was very near the place where we were taking the training. There was no noise in the hotel and breakfast was okay. The atmosphere at the hotel was heavy I will not choose it again. The hotel's facade is worn. The hotel staff were not friendly, except for an older man who gave me the impression of being in charge.

warning will never go back!!! they tried to say my card was declined and i was charged 4 times plus an extra 50 deposit ! looked like they was running a Epstein island retreat as soon as we got there ! We checked in late and was tired so i proceeded to argue with the guy at desk bc he demanded more payment and 1800 number said it was paid and it was showing up on my cc activity. get to room it smelled of skunk , there was hair all over the bedding in the towels and wash cloths . asked for new bedding and towels never received any asked for a new room because it was supposed to be non smoking and i was not getting charged because i didnt want them to think i was smoking it. Denied room change we to take our stuff to car so our items wouldn’t smell and room was nasty !!!! poop splattered on wall shower dirty whole room was nasty. The sliding room didn’t lock and there was people hanging out on our patio. We took our items to car and there was tons of people looking in windows of vehicles. i asked to have refund only be told he would charge me to cancel !!! he proceeded to charge my card 3 more times so i was charge almost 800 for a room we had to leave and find somewhere else to stay !! wasn’t even in room for 30 min. i expressed my concern over non smoking facilities and whole place could giving everyone a contact buzz as soon as you step in door. manager was rude and not helpful. i def wouldn’t take kids or family’s there Now if your pharmaceutical enthusiast or love The P-Diddy Paradise that place is for you however you can’t mind the nastiness of the facilities!!!!

The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable!!!! I was a little early for check in and they let me in the room. It was clean and I appreciated that so much because I was tired from my flight. Breakfast was very disappointing but the coffee was good

The hotel was sketchy. The reception area was closed in with a safety window, the clerks were “investigating” something on the security camera when I arrived and had me wait. There was a visible wall of televisions for surveillance. I felt like I was waking into a very unsafe situation. When we got to the room, the room was dark and dingy(sink plug was broken, dirty tub, dirty floors- my socks were so black I threw them away-towels were rolled and left on the counter, minimal furniture and lighting, the bathroom door didn’t stay closed whether locked or not, room door was not secure), loud rambunctious activity occurred late into the night then someone banged on our door around 3a. I was nervous to lay my head down and sleep. Amenities with not available. We were told breakfast would be coffee, granola bars and fruit. We left before it was served.
