Great stay, but let it be known there is no hair dryer or microwave at this hotel.

I have stay here before back in 2022 and it was an amazing experience. This stay was not what I expected the cleanliness was horrible the shower had hair in the drain. I keep calling front desk for someone to come fix the problems no one came to my room. I don't know if y'all have new management, but it needs to be a change management department. I can say that the bistro was great thanks to Ms. Kim who always see I great pleasure to see when i come there. Also, the bar guy Elijah does an amazing job.

Never would I stay at this location again. Horrible room cleaning service and Unprofessional management service (Markucs). I check in and my room wasn't the exception of a clean room and yall have to nerves to give me this room. Bed had stain and look like the sheets wasn't change at all. Housekeeper Manager didn't want to change my room. The front desk agnet had to override Markcus to changed my room.

I stayed at this property for one night this past summer, and have since decided that despite a poor experience, the hotel deserved a positive review because of what they did to make things right! I decided to stay in this hotel after a concert at an amusement park in a neighboring state, near the border with Florida, and wanting to get out of that awful state as quickly as possible after the concert. After a terrible day, made only slightly better by seeing my favorite band in concert, I was hoping for a good nights sleep at this property, which unfortunately did not happen according to plan. Unfortunately the neighboring room was quite noisy, and I had to speak with the front desk, so the night auditor could try to call that room to ask them to quiet down. I am assuming I couldn't be moved due to hotel being fully booked, so I appreciated the night auditor doing what she could to try to make my stay better. However, after the neighboring room finally quieted down, and I was able to get a little bit of sleep, I was awoken with a loud sound similar to that of an alarm, coming from that room. I eventually went back to the front desk, and this is where the night auditor, who was still working, did everything they could to make things right. She was able to go back to the room to confirm the noise, attempt to contact the fellow guests, and when it was determined they were no longer in the room, enter the room herself, and then call for help in stopping whatever was causing the loud noise. Being that I was already trying to recover from a bad day, only to have an awful night, one might expect me to leave a completely negative review. However, the staff at this hotel provided me with the best possible service, and even gave me a late checkout and bonus Bonvoy points, to try and make up for an otherwise bad stay, due to issues beyond their control. Overall, I am happy that despite my negative experience, the wonderful people at this hotel did what they could to mitigate the issues with my stay. While I don't expect a perfect stay when staying at a Marriott flagged property, I do expect service that is at least good. At this property, the service was Excellent!

Check in was a breeze. Lovely and sweet woman at the front desk at checkin. I forgot her name but she works in the evening. Rooms are well kept and lobby had many snacks to choose from. Free parking and breakfast you can choose either points or free breakfast if you are a Marriott rewards member.

Clean hotel and nicely appointed. Location is convenient to capital building and restaurants. We arrived at 9pm with intention to eat at the Bistro-the website says it is open until 10pm. It was already closed-we learned that occupancy drives the decision to close early. Very nice fitness center located on the first floor; the pool area is nice, not heated. Parking is complimentary and ample. The staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Front desk staff very nice, beds comfy. This hotel has been renovated but they left very obvious remnants which show the age. The louvered closet doors are an almond/yellow color which I'm guessing is the original color because they match nothing else in the room and they were dirty. All the outlet/switch colors match the louvered doors - yellow/almond from the 80s. The shower walls while having new tile hadn't been cleaned in quite awhile. There were remnants of different colored products and other indiscernible things on the walls and the bathroom floor was super sticky. Would we stay again. Maybe. The cleaning is most likely due to staffing problems which is prevalent everywhere. But not updating a set of doors by at least cleaning and doing a fresh coat of paint??

I was pleasantly surprised at the location and the cleanliness of this hotel. I wanted to see the old Capitol building and it was very close. I was also able to drive within a mile to find a great cocktail, good food and a yummy cupcake. Great young man working that front desk tonight too!
