Spacious villas, comfortable beds, and great set up to lie, dine or snooze by the pool. We took our 15 teen with us. She was super chilled moving back and forth to the beach. We took the bikes out for a change of scenery (little hard on the butt with the pot holes) but fun all the same and justified the icecream at the end. Situated away from the huge resorts, it was lovely and peaceful (aside from the rooster). Didn’t take long to adjust to Island time and slow down. Great location to restaurants, markets and the best snorkeling beaches. Bring a book and you’ll be set for a relaxing trip.

Stunning location and brilliant facilities. We couldn't be happier with our 3 bedroom villa. We were a family of parents with 2 adult children and their partners. Offered us all space and the pool and deck area was amazing for our relaxing afternoons. The staff could not be more helpful and are a credit to the villas. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at Villa # 1, and while the overall experience was nice, there are a few things to consider. The villa # 1 is located very close to the main road in Rarotonga, which wasn’t clear from the Sea Change Villas website photos. Although traffic is lighter at night, there were still occasional bikes and cars passing by, and the sound was noticeable even with the windows closed. This is likely due to the single-glazed windows, which don’t provide much noise insulation. If you’re a light sleeper, we recommend bringing earplugs for a better night’s rest. We’ve attached photos of Villa # 1 and the nearby road for reference. Another aspect to note is the air conditioning system, which turns off automatically after 5 hours and cannot be overridden. This requires restarting it manually if you need it to run through the night. We were provided with a breakfast pack in the fridge on arrival, which included 1 egg per person per day, along with bread, small sachets of muesli and cornflakes, butter, milk, tea and coffee pods. While it was nice, we felt the breakfast offering could have been more generous, considering the cost. On the plus side, the facilities were nice, with access to a stand-up paddleboard, kayaks, and a beautiful seaside walking path nearby that we enjoyed. Overall, it’s a nice place with good amenities, but the road noise, AC limitations, and modest breakfast pack are worth considering.

Beautifully appointed, clean, new beachfront villa. The amenities were great; we didn't get to use the sea kayaks provided as much as we would have liked because of the wind during our stay. We wished the A/C would have stayed on all night; it's programmed to only stay on for 5 hours. Other than that, highly recommend this place.

Steph and Staff were accommodating and welcoming. Even after putting up with my stupid questions, these folks made my stay an incredible experience. They provided paddle boards, kayaks, reef shoes, bikes, and a view that would not quit. THANK YOU STEPH !!!

Spacious clean villa. Plenty of room for five of us. The room configuration was perfect for privacy. The pool was a welcome bonus! The beach is a short walk away and it was great to have the use of snorkelling gear, bikes, Sups and kayaks. Stephanie the host was friendly and a helpful host! Location was exactly half way around the island in the south end. Close to Muri. We hired scooters and a car which easily got us out and about exploring. Loved our stay.

Sea Change Villas On our trip to Rarotonga last week, we stayed four nights at Sea Change Villas, in Titikaveka on the south side, halfway around the island from the main town of Avarua. The resort is virtually adults-only and accommodates guests over 16, except for one Executive Villa that can take children of at least 12 years old. This is the first time we have stayed at Sea Change, although we have passed by the villas many times over the twelve years we have been visiting the Cook Islands and wondered what they were like. We booked a one-bedroom Beachfront Villa with a private pool and after seeing the pictures on the Sea Change Villas website we were excited to see what it was like inside. Stephanie met us at Reception and took us across the main road (Ara Tapu) that runs through the resort and unlocked the gate to our Villa. Wow! We walked onto the large front deck, with a plunge pool on the left, a small tropical garden set back on the right and a couple of sun lounges, chairs and tables as well. Straight ahead was the glass door to the kitchen and dining area. A well-appointed kitchenette on the right, with full-size fridge, two gas jets on the cooktop, a microwave oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine, and enough crockery, glassware and cutlery for four. Pots, pans and a supply of utensils completed the stock. The fridge had milk, tropical juice, six eggs, a loaf of bread, butter and a bowl of various breakfast spreads, such as marmalade and jam. On the left was a dining table with six chairs. Further in was a large lounge area with two three-seat sofas, a coffee table and a reasonably sized smart TV. The far wall was completely glass, with a door leading out to the back deck. This deck had a round wooden table with four chairs, two more sun lounges and an outdoor shower. It was quite well concealed from the beach, and there was a rock track leading down to the sand. This was not considered safe for people of our age, as there was no handrail, and it was uneven. That was not too much of a problem, as we could go back out the Villa’s gate and walk along a deck past the resort’s kayaks and stand up paddle boards and then down nine or ten wooden steps to the beach. Back inside, the bedroom was past the kitchen area. This had a four-poster king bed, with a huge picture window facing the lagoon. It gave a picture-postcard look, and the glass was exquisitely clean, giving it the look of no glass at all. Between the bedroom and bathroom was a dressing closet, with a full-length mirror and an open wardrobe with shelves and a rail. The huge bathroom had a two basin vanity, a toilet and a large shower, with a large rain showerhead and a smaller hand held head. Various fancy toiletries were available for guests. There was an air-conditioning unit in the dining/lounge area, which only ran when the key tag was inserted in the power slot. However, there were also three ceiling fans – one each in the dining room,
