Takarazuka Hotel

The ideal hotel experience… really I feel like a princess! Everything is so nice and well thought out, even in the economy room, there are nightgowns and slippers and even a shoe shine kit, they even provide a 3-type charger in the room. The beds are perfectly comfortable. The bath is so deep and relaxing, and the shampoo and conditioner are really nice quality! There are even vending and ice machines on every floor, I recommend to pair a cold drink with your bath. The view looks onto the Flower Road and it’s very nice. The breakfast is amazing, everything is delicious and very well thought out. The omelet cooked by hand and the cake of the day were the highlights, there is also a very nice salad bar. I recommend the rose hip tea to pair with your breakfast, it’s refreshing and doesn’t have too much sugar. The hotel is also only 2 minutes walk from the Takarazuka Grand Stage, we were able to have a relaxing breakfast, leave our luggage in the lockers near reception, and then stroll over for the 11am performance.
Hotel Wakamizu

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Wakamizu and in Takarazuka. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Rikyu room, which is traditional Japanese style. They also have western style rooms available, which are the majority of rooms. On the top floor is a wonderful Onsen, with fantastic views of Takarazuka and the surrounding area. Be prepared, women and men use separate Onsens in Japan, and you cannot wear swimsuits into the Onsen. The changing area has many amenities, such as massage chairs. We were very busy and unable to visit the on-site restaurant, but the menu looked very good. I would also recommend the google translator app for visiting Japan, and especially here away from downtown Osaka.
Takedao Onsen Koyokan Bettei Azalee

This inn is a villa type with an open-air bath in each room. Both breakfast and dinner are served in the cafeteria, but each room is a private room, so it is unlikely that you will see other guests. I saw alcohol disinfectant in two places, the lobby and the corridor, but not in the room. We stayed in the ”sun terrace” room. The room is like Nakazawa Village in Kusatsu, and there is a Japanese-style room on the other side of the living room where two heads are lined up. When staying for four people, futons are lined up there. The building felt new, but the furniture was cheap and the TV felt small. Beer and juice are free for the amount in the refrigerator, but there are no refreshments or snacks. I didn't see a supermarket or convenience store in the neighborhood, so if you need it, I recommend purchasing in advance. The bath in the room is spacious and deep, and is a purely weakly radioactive hot spring. It takes 20 to 30 minutes to fill the hot water, but it warms up well so you can sleep well. The room is warm with underfloor heating. For dinner, I chose Botan Nabe. The botan nabe is delicious, but the other dishes felt plain. Overall, I feel like I have what I need, but nothing more. Dinner is supposed to finish by 9:00, but by 7:30, all the booths seemed to have finished eating. Overall, I felt that the service was inferior for the price, but since all the rooms are on the first floor, you can see the trees from the bath and the birds singing from the large window in the living room. is very comfortable. I saw quite a few birds.
