Hotel is new & tastefully furbished. Love the basement Common lounge where guests can come together to eat, drink, read, watch movies or just relax. Room is also very comfortable, except lights are a little dim and there is no TV. Understand it's an intentional move by hotel management not to provide TV in room as they want guests to enjoy Taitung to the fullest & not stay in the room to watch TV. So need to get used to this if you want to stay here :)

It was the newest and most modern hotel in zhiben I feel. It could be 5star standards.
The hotel comes with the hot spring which was a really good highlight of trip. I try hot spring in zhiben out in town and it wasn’t better than the hotel’s. That’s how nice it was.
Breakfast was repetitive. Can be improved with more varieties for consecutive days.
Room was perfect. Clean, big and comfortable bed.
This is my first and only choice to stay in zhiben.

We checked in together as a couple. The service staff at the door immediately directed us to the parking location, and the counter staff quickly helped us check in. The stay was very comfortable, and we also got a very satisfying rest. The bed was made up of two standard double beds. We were together, so the bed was very big and very comfortable. I didn’t feel crowded when I had breakfast. The dishes were rich and the staff service was great.

The services for a three-day stay are the same as those for a one-day stay. Some coupons are only for one day, which means you can only have one stay at a time. The hotel is too big to walk around and the elevators need to be replaced. The locations in different buildings are different. The food is really not delicious and not five-star quality. I originally wanted to buy more. Buffet dinner, give up after seeing breakfast! Staying in a quadruple room, the price is for three adults. We are three adults and two children. The breakfast is counted per person, so I was asked to purchase breakfast for another child, but I think in terms of price, one adult price is equal to two children... ⋯The advantage is that children can take swimming lessons and adults can take yoga classes. These two are very good services in my opinion!

It's a very artistic B&B. The rooms are nice and clean. When I checked in, the landlady was not there and she was very careful to tell me how to unlock the door. The instructions were detailed. When I returned to the B&B in the evening, I saw the hostess and chatted with me. It turned out that this was just opened not long ago. B&B. I often visit Taitung and will choose to stay there next time. I will also introduce it to my friends.

Regarding the stay, it is at the perfect location, very close to the railway station of Taitung and center to many scenic spots. The bed is comfortable, the property is clean and well maintained. The team is always available to answer your queries. They go the extra mile to help you with things, full of local knowledge. And those were the 2 amazing days during my solo trip around Taiwan, I get to meet Mei and Alice during my stay. They are the best Host you could ever meet. I didn't even feel that I am staying in a hostel, it's more like home. If you get a chance to meet them, you should talk to them. They are super cool and don't forget to learn how to make Woven Bracelets from them. Alice is the best teacher to learn from. They defined how a hostel should be for travelers. And yes, we prepared Indian Chicken curry together. Don't miss this place, if you are visiting Taitung.

GGuest UserTeruma House is a very new, 6 months' old property. Clean, tastefully done in terms of design and comfort. Owner Max is very friendly, hospitable and helpful to share useful info such as suggestions on bicycle rental, places to eat, to visit. There are free coffee and snacks provided in the lobby area for guests. The only downside is the location of property is a bit of a walk from train station. Despite that, I absolutely love my stay there.

Advantages: The location is really good. There is free parking. There are about 10 spots but it is a little far away and it takes about 5 minutes to walk. The hotel offers Danti breakfast which is not bad, but you have to walk to redeem it by yourself before 11 o'clock.

WWander03316663263I stayed at this hotel in May 9-10, 2023. It was less than ten minutes' walk from the bus stop where I got off, located at the center of a busy area. Since I booked on line, I didn't have the option of including breakfast, so the stuff told me and offered to get me free coupon for breakfast and also upgraded my room. I arrived while the elevator was being maintained (for abut two hours) and before check in time, but the stuff were super helpful and got a room for me, and carried my luggage upstairs for me. The location is perfect, I could walk to the biggest street market and find lots of restaurants nearby. Even though the hotel is on a busy street, it was pretty quiet inside. My biggest surprise was the breakfast. It was located on the top floor with lots of western and Chinese food selections. The best part of this hotel is the friendliness of the stuff, it made me feel at home. As a solo traveler, being able to chat with friendly stuff is very comforting. They answered all my questions, gave me suggestions, the best stuff in my one month long travel in Taiwan. I will definitely stay there when I visit Taitung again.

GGuest UserIn this hotel, you can see the sea view, the mountain view, and the blue sky and white clouds directly from the large glass in the room. There is a 24-hour beverage bar on the first floor of the hotel, with coffee and bread; the breakfast is also very even, with a variety of products. There are plenty of items, salads, breads, steamed buns, fruits, and simple desserts, which is really good. You can ride a bicycle for 3 hours, and it is only about 2-3 kilometers away from Taitung Night Market, so it is very convenient to eat delicious food.

MMASAKATSU KOIZUMIThe room was clean, the bed was clean, there were lights and outlets, and it was easy to use. I'm thankful that I have water, towels, and slippers. The bad points were that there were a lot of mosquitoes and I got bitten in several places, and the air conditioner was as loud as construction work outside.
Since it was a dormitory, the people in the same room were noisy so I didn't feel comfortable. That has nothing to do with the hotel.
Self-check-in is convenient, but in the end I couldn't do it and checked in at the counter. It's a good inn considering the price and location.
But the mosquitoes were persistent!

I won’t go into too many advantages, but here are some ideas for reference:
1. The all-you-can-eat dinner has not many food choices and is not hot enough
2. I was really surprised that the four-star hotel didn’t even include tea bags and coffee bags. I called the front desk and asked, but they actually said that they were not included when booking through the booking website. She also told me to wait a moment and she would ask the supervisor for instructions before calling me back. Later, I thought that we had brought our own coffee powder when we went out, so we called the counter and told them that there was no need to call back. About an hour later, four tea bags were delivered.
It is understandable that modern enterprises will find ways to cost down in order to survive or make operating profits. But four-star hotels do not. I really don’t know how to describe it.
I didn’t call to ask for tea bags, I just wanted to confirm if I forgot to put them away? The answer I received with good intentions turned out to be somewhat unkind.
