Apause Inn

Near Taipei Main Station and about 1 km from Ximending Street. The room is clean. They also have souvenirs for travelers, and the place is kid-friendly. The service is good.

We had a good stay at Apause Inn, and we really want to highlight the great help we received from John. When we first checked into our room, we noticed that it wasn’t properly cleaned by the previous staff, which was a bit disappointing. Thankfully, John handled the situation really well. He listened to our concern, acted quickly, and made sure everything was taken care of right away. His professionalism, calm approach, and genuine care made a big difference and turned the situation around for us. Big thanks to John for stepping up and making sure we were comfortable. Because of him, we still had a pleasant stay and would consider coming back to Apause Inn.

Strategic located near Taipei major transport hub, eateries, mall. Despite located at a bustling area, the windows soundproofing works perfectly .

The location is very convenient, only about 400 meters from MRT Taipei Main Station, making it easy to travel around the city. The accommodation is located on the 5th floor and there is an elevator, so you don’t need to carry heavy luggage up the stairs. However, the room was not very clean. There was dust under the bed, and I found an old pair of slippers left underneath, which should have been cleaned more carefully. Towels can be changed every day with a self-service system. There is no breakfast provided, but there is self-service toast available in the shared kitchen.

Although the hotel doesn't provide breakfast and toiletries in the room, you may find bread with jams and all toiletries for your use at the lounge. Very thoughtful and their staff are super friendly. Hotel is also very near to the train station.

This hotel was not within my budget, but considering the experience we got, it was worth it. The number one thing was that it was conveniently close to all public transportations, which made taking day trips outside of the city to be easily accessible. We had the two single bed with accessibilty room. It was ok, but seeing how big the bedroom and washroom were, it could have more storage areas for hanging or shelves/hooks in the shower area.
