CHECK inn Taipei Nanjing

There were many footprints on the sofa. After speaking with the front desk, they only promised to follow up but never got back to me. I have no idea if they even did anything. The pillowcases were quite dirty, as you can see in the photo. There was obvious dust and rubbish on the bedside tables. The glass shelf on the bar counter hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long, clearly covered in a layer of dust. I can't even list all the little things. Let's just say this is far from a 4-star hotel experience.

Location & Surroundings The hotel is conveniently located right next to Songjiang Nanjing MRT Exit 5, just a three-minute walk away. The surrounding area boasts excellent amenities with plenty of convenience stores and Japanese eateries. It's also close to the famous Liaoning Night Market, making it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. Room Experience The Executive Room was spacious and comfortable, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Service Quality The front desk staff were friendly and polite, making for an overall satisfying service experience. Room Amenities & Policies It's worth noting that some of the hotel's services and policies might differ from a typical stay: * An additional pillow costs TWD 150 per day. * Late check-out is TWD 400 per hour. * Room cleaning service is provided every three days. If your stay is less than four days, no cleaning service will be provided. Laundry Information The hotel does not have its own laundry facilities. If needed, there's a 24-hour self-service laundromat nearby: Turn right out of the hotel, walk straight past the China Airlines building, cross the road, and continue straight to Lane 24 to find it.

The room was spacious enough, fitting two large suitcases without any issue. Although the hotel is a bit older, it's well-maintained. The price is quite reasonable, and if you don't require extra facilities, it's a great choice. The staff were also very friendly :)

This hotel is just a few minutes from Songjiang Nanjing Station, and you can walk under the building's eaves, which is super convenient if it rains. There are also many Japanese shops nearby, like Sukiya, CoCo Ichibanya, and Komeda Coffee, making it a great choice even for those who aren't seasoned travelers. While it's primarily smart check-in, the front desk staff speaks some Japanese and are very helpful. My room this time was a connecting room, and unfortunately, I could clearly hear coughing from the next room, which was unpleasant. It's a shame, because the TOTO Washlet in the toilet and the large bathtub were very comfortable. There's also a safe in the room.

The room was very dusty. Housekeeping only seemed to empty the trash. There was also constant noise. If you're staying for several days, be prepared for subpar cleaning services.
