Had a very memorable stay at Lakeshore. Hotel was comfy and decent size. Location is very good. Easily accessible to all the touristy spots. Right opposite the hotel has plenty of beautiful photo spots too. Booked the hotel for our pre-wedding photoshoot and even the local photographer commended on the room and location. Love it. Buffet breakfast was also decent with wide variety of choices.

The air conditioner in the room was not cold. It was 29 degrees in the room. The lobby and corridors were colder than the room. I told the receptionist that the room was bigger and it would take longer to get cold. When I couldn't stand it any longer, the receptionist said they couldn't change rooms because they were full and they sent an electric fan. , it was still 29 degrees in the morning. It was a really bad experience and I really don’t recommend it.

A guest mistakenly booked a room, so we had to change the location. Although the other location is not as urban, it has great parking. The boss also generously gave a huge discount👍. I will book a room next time in Tainan. Later I stayed there because the parking was really convenient, the room was big and very clean and the boss was super nice.

A family oriented hotel so solo travelers might felt a bit ignored. Adding a coffee machine at the lobby would be very helpful. They follow Japanese check in check out hours and also quite strict about it… I think that’s the biggest downside of the hotel. You will have to wait exactly after 3pm for the room and out in 11 even they are not full. Otherwise the room and location is good, would recommend.
