The hotel is in Japanese style, with hot springs and swimming pools. Next to it is the Whale Museum, which is very convenient. The most amazing thing is the breakfast, with a beautiful environment and live piano accompaniment. There is airport pick-up service, but it is required before 5 pm, so everyone must pay attention to the time. Thanks to Ctrip for always communicating with us. Since the place is too remote and we couldn't get a taxi, we walked to the hotel!

Love it! The window frame is like a picture frame, the scenery is intoxicating, and the sunset view is super unbeatable! Be sure to book the Japanese-style room with sea view on the top floor. There are Easter eggs when you open the door. You can watch whales and dolphins training. It's worth it! And don't miss the breakfast, it's a full sense of ceremony!

The hotel rooms are Japanese-style rooms with tatami mats. The hotel's hot springs are good. The outdoor hot springs are right by the sea. The hotel is relatively remote. It is best to order breakfast. Breakfast must be booked in advance. Breakfast cannot be booked after arriving at the hotel. The breakfast is very rich. There is an ocean museum next to the hotel

Facility needs updates but it has a nice ocean view and quiet onsen, located right next to the whale museum. I highly recommend including breakfast in your reservation. You’ll enjoy a quality breakfast with live piano. Stop by the roadside station or a convenience store to buy some food because dining options are limited.

Quiet and close to the whale museum. However, not many dinning options near by unless you drive. Public transport is limited as well.

A CAUTIONARY NOTE: This is a Japanese whaling/fishing town. If slaughtered/trapped dolphins and whales bother you, consider going elsewhere as you cannot avoid it here. There are pens of trapped wild-caught dolphins right out the window. I booked this hotel without doing enough research as a relaxing stay after hiking the Kumano Kodo and after minutes of driving into town, knew I had made a mistake. As a tender-hearted human who watched “The Cove” and “Whale Wars” I cannot believe I booked a hotel in the literal cove where thousands of wild dolphins are killed, sold, and hunted. It was my miss, so I thought I’d provide this so that you don’t make the same mistake. It looks as though other booking sites had these types of reviews, but ******* did not. Otherwise, the view of the ocean and hills are beautiful, the staff are so kind and helpful, the breakfast is nice, and the outdoor onsen is peaceful. The rooms are OK, but could use some maintenance. There is a free shuttle to Kii Katsura a couple times a day, but otherwise you are pretty isolated at the hotel.

器にも非常に気を配ってられて料理も美味しかったです 確かに建物、設備が古くなってる事は否めませんがゆっくり懐かしい旅館といった雰囲気を味わうにはよいとろこです 部屋からの海の眺めもいいです
