I am very satisfied with this charging trip. The service attitude of the staff is good. The decoration is my favorite style, with industrial-style lighting and retro sofas. The equipment is also very good. The air conditioning is controlled on the wall and the toilet has many functions. , the large screen of the TV part is enough to watch! There are many sockets and USB sockets are provided outside. In addition, the large bathtub is great! They provide shower gel and shampoo (go up the mountain to collect herbs ✨); bring your own supplies~
The lighting is moderate, with sunlight coming in without making people feel too hot👍
I came up on a motorcycle, and there happened to be grids outside. The overall experience was great! Will definitely stay again in the future!

The hotel's location is very convenient, being close to both the Taichung train station and the Miyahara ice cream shop. Cleanliness is excellent, but one area that needs improvement is the air conditioning—it wasn't quite cool enough during my stay. They did provide a fan to help with air circulation in the room, which was appreciated.
Overall, a decent stay with great accessibility to transport and local attractions.

Location: It located infront local train Taichung not hsr taichung. But it is very easy to access using local train from hsr taichung/Xinwuri to local train taichung. A lot of convenience store nearby and two vegetarian shops located near the hotel the other one just at a corridor beside the hotel.
Amenities: give some tea and coffee. Water heater provides. Hair dryer provided. Towels provided. Some self service can take from counter one time use shaver, toothbrush and toothpaste, indoor shoes. Self service laundry near the lobby (~60 ********* yuan)

I booked this hotel as it stated that there are parking lots. When I came to check in, staff only said that there were not available and directed me to the near by parking where I have to pay fee.
Staff who are at the counter check in were not so friendly, unlike the staff who are at the breakfast entrance and in front of the elevator area, they were very helpful and friendly.
The room was clean and we got the view where we can see the main train station.

Clean is small but super clean and comfy. Breakfast choice was good and changed every day throughout the entire 3 days of stay. The additional plus point would be the free laundry room at Ground Floor which you can wash for your clothes and dry them free. Staffs are polite and kind to assist you with any enquires that you have. All in all, a pleasant stay at City Inn Hotel (Taichung) and would return again for the same hotel the next trip.
Lastly kudos to staff - Emma who has helped to maintain the cleanliness of Room 701 throughout the entire 3 days. Appreciate your effort. Thank you 😊

There are many people in the surrounding parks and it is quite lively. It is not noisy when sleeping at night. The only drawback is that it is difficult to find parking spaces, but there are still vacancies on the roadside at night. The overall stay is good. The breakfast is delicious. Great location as many snacks restaurants, all within walking distance. Staffs was friendly. There is all day coffee makers, water dispensary and light biscuits at the front desk. room is spacious and clean. only cautious is the door may not lock when you close to go out. I did not notice until I returned in the evening and the staff quickly came to rectify. seems that some problem with my card. it was replaced and the door is able to self lock again.

SSiSiriThis is a very great place to stay at. It’s very convenient as it’s in a walking distance from Taichung Station and bus stops. I stayed for one night in a bunk bed ‘room’. Every bunk bed has its own space, counter, wardrobe, safe and enough power outlets. The washroom area is also well facilitated with a separate zone of wet and dry area in each shower room. They also have noodles time and a light breakfast.
Overall, it was a nice stay, would recommend for a solo traveler and will most probably stay here again if I come to Taichung 😊

PPgzdHotel is located at a great location, nice facilities and good cleanliness in my room. My only feedback is that for people who drive, please be aware. The carpark entrance is at the back entrance of the hotel where the convenience stall is located. This hotel uses an Over Car Bonnet Storage system. We were greeted unpleasantly by the carpark assistant (an old man), not only were we not allowed to unload our luggage before parking, he didn't even bother assisting us with our carriage. To make matters worst, we saw him help another guest on arrival that was behind us at that time, to unload their luggage and give them guidance in parking. On my last day, i was awoken by the hotel staff through the hotel phone. They told me that my car was not parked properly and they could not activate the lever system for the carpark. Yes i would apologize if i have parked off by 2cm outwards, but I was woken up rudely in the morning after a long tiring night before with no apologies whatsoever. A note to future hotel guest, if you intend to have your car parked in the hotel, please be mindful the space is not very SUV friendly.

Next, after office hours, the shutter roller of the front counter is closed, hence there will be no access to water dispenser. Maybe hotel should consider to install a water dispenser for stayers to refill water, etc

Big room, soft and comfortable bed, and equipped with modern facilities, acceptable price. Perfect accommodation for couples. There’s 199 bus station on the side of the hotel, if you wanna go to fengjia night market ( 20-30 mins ). And 160 bus to xinwuri THSR about 10mins walking by foot to the station. Nice breakfast
Disadvantage:
Quite a distance if you want to travel, and have to transfer at least one bus. have to walk 20mins from irent parking lot. And we got confused about the check-in reception, it’s quite dark from the outside.

GGuest UserI booked a triple room for myself as I wanted a bigger room but was given a 4 ppl room with 2 double beds. Very helpful n efficient check in staff who did everything from checking n fixing the musty smell in my room n showing me how to take the buses. Great location w bus stops for local buses n buses to other cities right outside, n great local food just around the corner. There’s also a small outlet mall n Taichung park within 5 min walk. Very modern deco. Only downside is no fridge in room n no proper room makeup. Overall, great place!

Hhoo7749You can walk or take a bus from Taichung Station (several buses can get off at Renai Hospital Station). It is a very convenient hotel. The space is not big but the staff is very clean and comfortable. It will be a priority for your next trip to Taichung. Next to it, the Yanagawa Christmas lights decoration has been completed, but the waterfront landscape trail will not be opened until December 15.
