Ideal preflight stopover. Handy to have bar and Cafe . Staff very efficient and friendly. Quiet considering proximity to the airport. Could not fault this hotel it had everything we needed for our stay
If you're jetting off to somewhere special, or you just want to pay a flying visit to Dublin, Premier Inn Hotel Dublin Airport is a great place to stay. We're perfect if you've got an early flight, or if you fancy a late night out in Ireland's first city. Whether you're lifting the spirits with a city break, or raising the roof at the Wright Venue, you'll find so much to enjoy. Discover world-class shopping on O'Connell Street, or business-class facilities at the Airside business park. Swords Village is worth a visit too, voted one of Ireland's most pleasant places to live. Then come back for a tasty meal at our restaurant, and a lovely comfy bed.

Need to know: It is currently 2.5 pounds per person each way to ride the necessary airport shuttle bus. Dublin Airport imposes a long walk on everyone using any of the shuttle buses, which stop much closer to the bus station than the airport (however, you can't get a cab because the distance is too short). In addition, Dublin Airport has a very confusing entrance/exit area definitely designed to make it impossible for vehicles to get anywhere close to the terminal, but also making it virtually impossible to make sense of the signage and twists and turns when using public or for-hire transportation. You need time, both in and out!! I downgraded to ”4” for Location because we had to pay for the airport shuttle - the more expensive, name-brand airport hotels do not charge.
Also, breakfast is not included at the Premier Inn and is currently 9.95 pounds for continental, including a few hot items you can order, or 11.95 pounds for the full hot breakfast. The food is good and the restaurant is large and comfortable.
On the plus side, our room - with a queen bed - was large, the bathroom and closet were generously large, and the room furnishing is simple but quite functional.
Worth being this close to the airport to make sure you are timely for your flight, especially flying to the US, which definitely takes 3 hrs as you go through Ireland security followed by US-specific security that is a long walk away and repeats all the standard airport security processes!!

This was the most expensive hotel of our ten day trip to Ireland (more than 200E) and we chose it only because of the proximity to the airport. The pictures on the Internet made it seem nice and modern but they were deceiving. The first room we got smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. The hallways also smelled like smoke. The second room we got was dirty -- an old sock was left on the floor and there were hairs on the bed. The tv remote was so old the numbers were worn off and the remote was missing the battery cover. The tv was also unplugged from the cable for some reason. The rooms are very small -- think college dorm size or cruise ship. The hotel and the rooms I saw are in dire need of renovation - the elevator creaked every time it was used. The only positive things I have to say is that the breakfast was pretty good (buffet), it is close to the airport, and the front desk personnel were friendly. However, I wanted to get out of the place as soon as I could because it felt so dirty. Even the McDonald's across the street felt elegant compared to this hotel. The Maldron Hotel Dublin Airport was by far the worst place I stayed in Ireland and an unfortunate ending to an otherwise nice trip. Surprisingly the hotel was packed with travelers when we were there, given that it was so bad.

Bar was great but we felt that there could of been a little more choice of food in the restaurant and bar.

This is a decent hotel by Irish standards but still has all the usual pitfalls of hotels in Ireland. We arrive at 3:30 to be told room isn’t ready and checkin isn’t until 4pm in any case. Annoying but no biggie. We got a family room which was quite spacious with a great view of the golf course and coast. Bathroom wasn’t great - shower not v good. Pillows big and hard. Food at the hotel the usual fare of big hearty portions of the standard offerings ie fish n chips, burgers, Caesar salads etc. That’s ok after a game of golf but when on holidays for a few weeks, I crave menus with something light and inventive. The staff were all helpful and polite. The hotel is definitely the best option in the locality

Definitely recommend the theatre package, bed, breakfast and pre theatre dinner, then pickup by taxi to show, taxi back to hotel also, plus tickets to a show. Will definitely be coming back, staff were so friendly and helpful and even though our room wasn’t air conditioned, it had two fans which we couldn’t have survived without

Excellent hotel, undergoing some refurbishment so some workmen around with associated noise and disruption.
Had 1 small issue with our room, offered and accepted a change of room, which the hotel sorted within an hour of arriving and checking in.
Able to leave bags on check in and check out days without any problems.
Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and catered for all diets and requirements.
Central location on O'Connell Street, easily walkable to most central attractions and hop on / off bus tours directly outside.
Would 100% stay again.

Point A Hotel, what can I say. Well presented inside and out, the access to bedrooms locked behind a key card, the bar and breakfast area also immaculate. As you enter your bedroom it is well organised and has everything you need. The bed was a firm mattress but that was perfect, a surprised samsung 43” TV was waiting to be watched from the wall. With LED strip lights and mode lights all around the room and a decent air con to go with. The room had a safe but i never needed to use it. The one LED strip light on the curtain track was losing its stick and i had to reattach it everytime the curtains where opened. Speaking of which the arrangement I felt was weird as it typically goes curtain than net curtain from inside looking out, this hotel went net curtain then curtain. Maybe you do get some rooms with a view, i most certainly did not, considering how close it is to the heart of the city and Temple Bar. My window view consisted of an opposite rooms window and exterior build walls and a steep drop down below. If you are looking for a well presented hotel with decent sleep quality, this hotel is for you, if you are on your own this hotel may not be for you, due to its lack of hot meals at breakfast and throughout the day. For a hotel at £180 a night, you could easily get a hotel with a hot food breakfast and evening meals nearby, the price structure like the rest of Dublin is overpriced for what it is, one of the cheaper priced hotels but still not worth the price. The breakfast was ”okay” you had a selection of 2 cheeses, 3 sandwich meats, 3-5 pastry options like pain au chocolat, croissants, scones, sausage rolls and mini bread rolls / baguettes. Was some cereal options too, a choice between orange juice, apple juice and ice water, then your usual hot drinks choice. It was all fresh and well presented, i just wish it had a cooked option too. In terms of location, ignoring the building opposite that was a form whiskey shop. It was great, right around the corner from O'connell Street, where it was incredibly busy, multiple shopping centre esque buildings along each side street, with id say 10 minutes you can be in Temple Bar area on the South Side of the River by foot. With such easy access to trams, buses, taxis near enough on your doorstep, and the far enough away from Temple Bar to not hear it, but close enough to go there was ideal. In quiet traffic from the airport you can make it in 15minutes. So to summarise, it was a good, but overpriced

Comfy stay, rooms were clean and spacious, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread was small but delicious. Hotel is in the vicinity of four supermarkets (Tesco, Aldi, Lidl and a polish place I can’t remember the name of but they had great bread) and <10min drive away from the north dock conference center which was convenient for my work trip.

BbonnieloveWe stayed here after a long flight into Dublin Airport and were surprised how close it is to the airport! Less than 10 minute drive to a lovely little town with many nice restaurants and bars. You can also drive into Malahide in less than 10 minute too. The hotel itself was lovely with a large room and nice bathroom. The staff were very friendly and there is parking at the hotel. There is a bar on site so it can be a little loud but there wasn’t noise too late at night so I wouldn’t let this put anyone off staying here
HHHH123Lovely place. Clean and quaint. Very nice restaurant/bar area and nice rooms. No hot water in the morning in one of the rooms however. Good parking. Next to golf club in the countryside so nice fresh air.
