From start to finish the experience and ambience was absolutely amazing with so much attention to details. The estate provide an amazing ground and facilities for dining, entertainment and activities.

Swinton is an outstanding experience. Even in the eye of a big December storm, the buildings and grounds are impressive. The insides are warm, welcoming yet still sumptuous The service and food quality is second to none. We had one of the cottages so we could be together as a family for my wife’s 60th birthday. A gorgeous home from home with all the amenities on top Samuels restaurant was a particular highlight of our weekend stay. One to return too. Often!

A beautiful venue, with pleasant welcoming and attentive staff. Recommend reviewing your booking package carefully as the best value options are not clear until after you’ve booked, unless I was missing some details!

We had a great day visiting for a Christmas wreath making workshop and lunch. The workshop was brilliant, run by two lovely ladies and we had lovely wreaths to show for it. It was lovely to retreat to the warmth of the main house for lunch, which was relaxed and tasty - although the portion sizes were a touch small!

This beautiful property wraps its arms around you and it’s like stepping back in time. The grounds are stunning and on a day with good weather you wouldn’t wish to be anywhere else! Both restaurants provide excellent food choices but quite different which is nice if you are there for a few days.

I had a course booked at the cookery school which was fantastic. We decided to make a stay of our visit so thoroughly enjoyed the spa facilities and the evening meal at the Terrace. Breakfast at Samuels was great especially the scrambled eggs
