JJI YUNHave you read the detective novel by British writer Agatha Christie? She has a work called ”Crimes in the Sun”, which is about a group of tourists vacationing on a sunny island. Suddenly an extremely strange murder happened... When we walked into this hotel, I Suddenly thought of Christie's novel in his mind. In the remote and quiet countryside, a hotel with a strong classic flavor stands alone. There is an elegant restaurant in the hotel with about ten rooms. Through the window of the guest room, you can see the smoke erupting from Mount Aso and the rolling mountains in the distance. The surroundings of the hotel are quiet, full of greenery. Everything fits perfectly with the scene in Christie's work...Of course, nothing changed in the end. We spent two happily nights here, soaking in the natural hot springs in the hotel every morning and evening. The boss’s cooking skills are good, and the breakfast she cooked is very delicious. highly recommended.
GGuest UserWe are a couple from Australia and I only speak a little Japanese. This was a truly AMAZING experience! The staff were so kind and friendly, giving us assistance was no issue for them. The location is stunning, the private onsen was glorious and the dinners and breakfasts were bigger than we could possibly eat (and we love our food). The price point for this experience was so good - fantastic value for money. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a little adventure in the heart of countryside Japan.
If you get the chance to also visit Minamiaso (they will take you there at no extra charge) for the day, grab some e-bikes and have a ride around- take in the beautiful scenery and wonderful food options.
GGuest User#Praise# Satisfied with toiletries, hotel smell; The owner of the hotel is enthusiastic, the language is not available, and he specially found someone who understands Chinese to communicate. The breakfast is also very satisfactory. The room is clean and clean. The quality of the bed is a bit low. The sleep is uncomfortable and the pillows are not good. It is a big problem for people who don't sleep well.
LLAIAlthough I didn’t go because of the typhoon problem and special sudden reasons, I will definitely become a place that makes me dream. I want to go to Aso Volcano with my good friend and go to the Thousand Grassland to stay in the sum. I think so. Good, I hope I have a chance to dream come true. The hotel service staff is very kind. I called before I made an appointment. I had a little breakfast in advance. I asked if I could think of a way to get through. Although it was very difficult, I would do it for me as much as possible. Very grateful thank you
GGuest UserIt was the best location to see the stars! Starry sky tour, the best.
There was a small planetarium, and some people were snoring in less than five minutes to a comfortable voice.
The observatory's telescope has 2 and it's a little blurred, but I saw the stars explained in the planetarium.
The starry sky observation in the grassland was warm in the sleeping bag, and the bonfire and hot drink were delicious.
I could see the starry sky as I saw in the planetarium.
I was surprised that the room was in the woods but there were no insects at all. The surroundings are rich in nature, and it is a very pleasant place to hear the voices of birds and frogs.
The appearance and furniture were cute, and when I fell on the bed, I saw the stars from the skylight.
The breakfast was very delicious, despite the suddenness.
The water from the tap water is natural water from Aso, and when I take a bath, it smells soft and gentle.
Amenities were also available and comfortable.
It is a fairy tale nearby, and it is recommended to touch animals.
MMarkermaThe layout of the entire hotel is more Japanese-style, but due to some cracks in the walls of the room, it looks a bit dilapidated. There is no power outlet near the bed, so it is extremely inconvenient to power the device away from the room. But there are several features of this hotel. The first is that dinner is Kaiseki cuisine. Anyone who needs to take off their shoes to enter the tatami will be assigned a seat by the staff to experience Japanese culture. The second is the open-air hot springs, which are open for a long time, allowing you to further the hot spring experience. Of course, there are also indoor hot springs. The last point is what I discovered when I went up to Aso Volcano. The hotel seems to have a bus that can go up to the volcano, but I only recognized the name of the hotel and it is not confirmed. Please help me confirm it. Although I don't have a good impression of this hotel, I can definitely try it at this price to experience kaiseki cuisine and open-air hot springs.
Kken k.c. LamOn my trip to Aso Volcano, I stayed at Asunara Resort this time. Their mushroom house is very cute and can accommodate 4 people. The bathroom is very narrow and tall people may bump their heads. The dressing room outside is also very small. It is also easy for others to see when changing clothes.
Speaking of entertainment facilities, there are hot springs and steam rooms. But you have to pay for it at your own expense, ¥3000 all-inclusive.
The farmhouse and game facilities are also charged separately. Remember to arrange the time for the activities. Check-in at the resort is at 4 o'clock and check-out at 10 o'clock. The zoo enters at 9 o'clock and closes at 5 o'clock. I usually pick up a room in the afternoon after visiting the volcano, and then visit the zoo the next day (at my own expense). In the end, I give up visiting the zoo, which is a pity.
