I booked the Huajin room. It's spacious and like most hotels now, the toilet area is quite open without a proper door for you to lock. Thus it's suitable for couples. For friends travelling together, taking their suite is better as you have a big toilet area divided out with wooden doors and lock for privacy. There's no fridge for the Huajin room. Their suite has everything from weighing scale to fridge.
Their service is wonderful though. When I feedback about smelling cigarettes in the morning (I booked the non smoking room in a non smoking floor), they apologised earnestly and offered to change a room.
Breakfast choice is okie. Not a big spread but a few options for each type.

I watched the 14th anniversary performance of the Shanghai Rainbow Chamber Choir and stayed at Beichen Guohui. The beautiful lady at the front desk upgraded me to a river view room on the 22nd floor. The room was large, the view was good, and the experience was excellent. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel has good food, large portions, and thoughtful service. It is close to the Xiangjiang and Liuyang River scenic belt. The winter sun is bright. I took a walk and it was very pleasant š Come again, come again, come againšš

On the night of check-in, I don't know which store downstairs played music until late at night. After reporting it to the front desk, it was quickly resolved. The hotel is in a very good location. There are convenience stores, restaurants, and fruit stores downstairs. The hotel environment is elegant and there are many green plants. The room layout is reasonable and clean. Although there are some minor problems, it is still highly recommended overall.

Excellent hotel - location is convenient for most of the main sights and restaurants. Service is excellent (despite only a few staff speaking any English). Room was very spacious, clean and bed comfortable. Good amenities. Breakfast excellent with wide selection and lots of seating, even at peak times. Would definitely stay here again. The young ladies who are on duty at the front desk at different times are very polite and have a good service attitude! Xiao Zhangās sister is very considerate with a smile. She will help deliver the food when itās delivered. Especially when I left something behind, she called to let me know and help to send it back. The environment is great, the interior environment has a sense of design, the shower is separated from wet and dry, and the toilet is heated intelligently. I heard that it has been open for more than a year, and the decoration is new. The decoration is very special and people like it. There are high-rise balconies, and the night view is beautiful. The room also makes people feel warm and has a good experience.

The lifts were such nightmares as it kept breaking down and the door closes within short period of time. The entrance was so hard to find too. I think this place is more suited as love hotel, not very kid friendly. The air vent is quite bad as it brings second hand smokes from ppl staying in other rooms.
The lighting in some rooms are very dim too, so be cautious when picking your room.

A very good hotel in the south of Changsha, with a good location, close to Desqin Plaza. There are many food stalls on the back street, a paradise for foodies, and it is also very convenient to buy things. This time I booked it for my friend. After picking up the person at the airport, we arrived at the hotel very quickly. Check-in was very smooth. There was a concierge guy to help with the luggage as soon as I entered the door. I like the service of the staff. It is very efficient. My friend lived very comfortably. The hotel swimming pool is very good and clean. The overall experience is great, especially the guest relations manager Selina is very enthusiastic. She prepared the room for me in advance and put fruits in it. She also gave us a small gift when we left the store. The service is really good. I will choose here next time. I recommend it to everyone!

AAndreas KarlNo complaints. The room was pretty compact, but I can't say I didn't have enough space. The layout makes it work. The bathroom is a tight fit, though. Didn't really make use of the hotel's amenities, but I checked them out, and they seemed to be as advertised. The location was pretty good; not super close to anything, but also not particularly far. Staff are welcoming and enthusiastic. Honestly, at the price point, it's actually a bit of a steal.

AAn Ordinary BoyThis was my first time travelling to Changsha on my own and I booked this wonderful hotel.Ā As a solo traveller the smallest room is large enough for me.Ā There is a smart tablet to control all appliances, however if you have difficulty to master technology, ordinary switches are also mounted on the wall, which are definitely easier to use.Ā Basic toiletries are provided, but in case you need additional items like razors or paper towels, or other room services, you just scan a code by Wechat Application then a robot will make your delivery to the room.Ā If you do read some Chinese it will be fine; otherwise you have to contact the staff through telephone.Ā Donāt be surprised that the concierge is on the 11th floor yet you see a bar when the lift arrives, soon you will know that each room can enjoy a bowl of Chinese porridge and a glass of cocktail free of charge every night; thatās where you finish your shot after checking in.Ā Remember to take one before going to bed, plus some free snacks.Ā Ā There is also a karaoke area and it allows me to connect my music library to the broadcast system and sing along.Ā First time in my life!
Here I would like to say thank you to a young receptionist who surnamed Chen.Ā Not only did he handle enquiries at the front desk, but he was also responsible for fruit and wine preparing at the lounge.Ā Although he didnāt show super mixology skills, he worked very hard!Ā On the day of arrival the karaoke system had some problems, he contacted the technician at once so that I could sing after fixing.Ā Laundry service is also available, but unlike other hotels where I have to bring the clothes to the machine room, here I just place my request by phone and they will finish the washing for you at zero cost.Ā Amazingly it was Mr Chen again who came to my door for collection; an industrious boy!
The hotel is located in the city centre and a direct bus ride from Changsha train station (No.112) only takes 20 minutes.Ā This also makes its only demerit because those busy street noise can still be heard in the room at late night (not the hotel's fault), but you may ask for earplugs for a better sleep.

CCameo19I stayed for 3 nights over Christmas at the W Hotel and it went above and beyond all expectations! From the sleek, modern design to the impeccably clean facilities.
It felt very festive as windows and tables were adorned with delightful Christmas decorations, the highlight was the lovely pink tree on the first floor, it was super cute!
The entire staff's commitment to ensuring my stay was exceptional deserves high praise. They catered to every need with a level of care and attentiveness that exceeded all expectations. Day 1: Lovely plate of fruit. Day 2: Cute knitted pouch with candy. Day 3: Xmas-plate of fruit and chocolate log.
Plus a big shout out to Eric, who was super attentive and assisted in organising my Christmas Eve afternoon tea and the delicious 5-course Christmas Day meal. (It was pricey at 1288, but included the regular buffet, and a gorgeous red basket with gifts plus an oversized bag! So was worth it.)
The bar/chill out area seems to be the hangout place.
The energetic atmosphere on Christmas Eve was super cool. There was a runway showcasing several models and a cool DJ. It added an exciting vibe to the festivities, making the evening memorable.
Furthermore, the huge swimming pool and changing room facilities felt luxurious, only thing missing was a jacuzzi, although sauna and steam room were great.
Additional info: hotel is connected to the mall, line 2 metro is accessible via the mall which made is super convenient to travel around the city.
Definitely recommend staying here!

First, for a location very close to the subway (chaoyangcun), take exit 5 or 9.
Second, the check in process was very fast and professional.
Third, the bed and all amenities are in good condition and clean, even the pillows are provided in 2 types, medium hard and soft.
Next to the hotel entrance there is a very delicious and cheap place to eat.

GGuest UserSuperb location! You can literally walk to all the main shopping streets nearby for access to shopping and food (eg bakeries, famous fermented bean curd, bubble tea shops, Chinese food chains, many food streets/food courts). Just around the corner thereās also a small quaint alley which is quieter than the main shopping streets, that also has nice local options or coffee shops. The staff was very sweet when I checked in and she offered a room upgrade for me. I also needed their help to book a car because my overseas phone canāt do so on the Didi app, and they helped me with that :) The pickup / drop off location is however not at the hotel itself. Itās across the street right at the traffic light (outside Zegna of IFS). Orange Hotel is directly opposite IFS if youād like access to higher end shopping. Donāt expect 5 star hotel cleanliness, the room did smell a little musky (someone definitely smoked in there before at some point), but it was livable and the good location trumps it all. There are some lighting options in this room as well that are pretty amusing - props to the hotel for wanting to spice things up. Thereās a small ramp to help you roll your luggage up at the lift landing, and if you need anything eg an extra bottle of water, a robot helps to bring it to your room :)

DDioneLocation is amazing for our 2D1N stay in Changsha. The area really comes alive at night and thereās so much yummy food, bars and nice photo spots and live music in the area!
The room was clean, aircon is strong. Water takes a short while to get hot but it does get really hot and you can have a hot shower :-)
The front desk area and common area where we got to keep our luggages whilst exploring (thank you!) were a bit messy and floor was dirty but maybe because it has been raining. Ignorable if you go straight to your room :-)

Despite live music around the inn, it isnāt noisy and has a peaceful vibe.
