Halifax Hotels with Pools

"Hotel is centrally located which is all it has going for it. It’s old and in desperate need of some updates. The pool seemed murky, tiles were broken around the pool, sauna didn’t work in either change room. The worst part was that one of the beds on our room smelled like urine. We called the front desk but couldn’t be moved as the hotel was booked. They brought fresh sheets and sprayed the bed, but you could still smell it. My daughter ended up sleeping on the floor. For the price you’d be better off staying somewhere else. We stayed in motels that were cleaner than this room."

"We always stay at this hotel when traveling. Our last stay, we arrived past 1am. We were picked up at the airport by the shuttle and whisked to the hotel where we were greeted by a kind staff member who checked us in. Our room was lovely and quiet and the bed very comfortable. Continental breakfast was appreciated, as was the long term parking while we were away. A note to say that as most people stay here when traveling, it can sometimes be a little noisier than other other hotels as people come and go at all hours. We were fortunate to have a quiet area this stay. Great service!"

"Great location. Nice ambience. It’s very close to my work site, around 2 minute walk with just one block away. Very nice reception and staff who would answer to your requests at their best. One thing I’d say is the cleaning service, where some of members are not the best at being proactive when I put my sign on."

"Everything was good and clean. i really like the room and living area but thing which disappointed me which was water bottle service. They told us we only get 2 bottle water for 1 day each for 2 people. Only 2 water bottle is not enough. Other than that, everything was wonderful"

"Hotel is located close to everything, but is in an area under constriction for the last 3 years. Hotel is clean, but dated. No fans it the washroom, so a hot shower leaves everything damp. Premium price for average rooms. 3rd stay there, likely the last."

"I recently stayed at Chateau Bedford, and had a great experience. The location is very convenient, especially if you're coming from the airport. It’s also close to COSTCO and IKEA, which was super handy for some quick shopping. Getting to downtown and the main shopping malls was also easy, making it a great base for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay better. The room was very clean, and the facilities were good, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, it's great value for money, and I’d definitely recommend it if you're visiting the area."

"We had a very bad experience with this hotel. When we arrived we asked the staff at front desk about car parking and we were told that there was no parking space and we had to go looking for an off street parking ourselves. We had a long time driving and this was the first time to Halifax and everything was new to us. How could we handle this issue? However, the staff seemed it was not a big issue and even not willing to give any more details about off street parking. I couldn't believe this thing happen at such a luxury hotel. We really don't recommend this hotel and will never come back again. Our experience at this hotel was terrible. When arriving to check in, we asked the receptionist at the front desk about parking and we were told there was not enough parking and we needed to find a street parking spot ourselves. We were exhausted from the long drive that day, and it was our first time in Halifax and was completely unfamiliar with everything here. How do we deal with this? However, the staff didn't seem to think it was a big deal, didn't express a single bit of apology, or even bothered to explain more details about on-street parking. We've stayed in many different hotels and we've never had this happen, I can't believe it could happen in such a luxury hotel. There are so many brand hotels in Halifax, why should I book your hotel, is it cheaper? We really do not recommend this hotel and will never come again."

"The location of the hotel is very good by a lake, a two-minute drive to a big supermarket with breakfast and gas station. Free parking is possible, very close to the airport."

"The location is not far from the city center, it is very convenient to go, the hotel facilities are very complete, the gym, the swimming pool are all, the room is big enough, there is a refrigerator, microwave oven, stronger than the hotel, parking is free, there is free breakfast, sausage, fried Eggs, bacon, bread, snacks, drinks, coffee, very good! There are many award-winning medals in the hall, and the service attitude is also very good. The key point is that the price is also cheap, highly recommended!"
